The Modelling of Real Hair Based on B-Spline

Modelled and simulated the real hair and hair style using B-spline.The key hair curves in the case of natural bend was generated by inverse operation of B-spline curve with the initial points data generated by the cantilever beam model.The section curve was generated by inverse operation of cyclic closed B-spline curve.Then used the partial property of the B-spline to adjust the shape of the key hair and seciton curves.Based on the key hair and seciton curves,a hair cluster was generated by skinning.At last,generated diffrent hair clusters in different area of the head model and render with light to accomplish the whole hair sculpting and simulation.The result of simulation demonstrates the method is simple in the controlling of hair,and can create various hair style.
