有一个问题，中国最早翻译国外古典丛书的商务印书馆，用的都是白话文，或者翻译体，表意非常清晰准确
我举出上面一个例子，是想说明不仅有谬误存在，而且远远达不到商务印书馆原著白话文的那种震撼力

战争宽恕了懦夫，而非勇士。引申意义在于战争过后，活下来的都是懦夫，而勇者皆战死，详见希特勒遗言：“……德国剩下的都是懦夫，因为勇敢的人都战死了……”

其实这句翻译的很有气势，似乎人教版初中历史书（也可能是岳麓版高中历史书）有白话的翻译，母亲对儿子临行前的嘱托：要么带着盾牌回来，不能，就躺在上面回来吧。
因为斯巴达有躺在盾牌让人抬回来的传统，而没有马革裹尸的传统

为国家效命就是为我效命（指为国家效力就是为所有公民效力）
这句有待商榷，出自荷马的伊利亚特，似乎可以研究下
阁下可能看出，我并非归化派的支持者，呵呵

古文时代的汉人和古罗马人的精神气质是完全不同的，文言翻译不见得就符合那个时代，反而更加南辕北辙，不伦不类，很多旧译酸腐不忍卒读

做个基数来说，离开学校之后往往工作繁忙，文言文会和外语一样水准逐渐下降，所以以翻译的信达雅来说，文言文可能会造成一定程度上中文的理解困难。而不是要求说你看不懂文言文就没有文化之类...&&当然也会有低龄玩家
