奥玉12，株型紧凑，全株叶片数22片，幼苗叶鞘浅紫色，花丝绿色，花药浅紫色。是一代杂交种，组合为OSL099/OSL102。母本OSL099是以掖478/热带杂交种P3012为基础材料选株自交选育，父本OSL102是以K12/昌7-2为基础材料选株自交选育。在全省适宜地区作为夏玉米品种推广利用。审定编号鲁农审2009006号品种来源一代杂交种，组合为OSL099/OSL102。

品种来源：一代杂交种，组合为OSL099/OSL102。母本OSL099是以掖478/热带杂交种P3012为基础材料选株自交选育，父本OSL102是以K12/昌7-2为基础材料选株自交选育。株型紧凑，全株叶片数22片，幼苗叶鞘浅紫色，花丝绿色，花药浅紫色。区域试验结果：夏播生育期102天，株高258厘米，穗位113厘米，倒伏率5.4%、倒折率1.5%。果穗长筒形，穗长17.3厘米，穗粗4.8厘米，秃顶0.7厘米，穗行数平均13.9行，穗粒数494粒，白轴，黄粒、马齿型，出籽率88.5%，千粒重362克，容重740克/升。2006年经河北省农林科学院植物保护研究所抗病性接种鉴定：中抗小斑病和大斑病，感弯孢菌叶斑病,中抗茎腐病，抗瘤黑粉病和矮花叶病。2006年经农业部谷物品质监督检验测试中心（泰安）品质分析：粗蛋白含量9.3%，粗脂肪3.6%，赖氨酸0.23%，粗淀粉72.66%。在年全省夏玉米新品种区域试验中，两年24处试点17点增产6点减产1点平产，平均亩产598.8公斤，比对照郑单958增产4.4%；2008年生产试验平均亩产628.5公斤，比对照郑单958增产4.4%。
栽培技术要点：适宜密度为每亩4000株，其它管理措施同一般大田。

生育期：（出苗至乳熟中期）东华北春播105天、南方春播90天 。
适宜地区：全国各玉米生态区均可种植。
品种特点：生物产量高、适应性广、保绿性好、消化利用率高。
特征特性：奥玉5102茎秆粗壮，株型半紧凑，植株高大健壮，叶片肥大浓绿，保绿性好，活秆成熟，籽粒黄色半硬粒，穗轴白色，果穗长筒形。该品种北方地区表现株高310厘米左右，穗位130厘米左右，穗长24~30厘米；南方地区表现株高290厘米左右，穗位130厘米，穗长22~28厘米。
品质分析：该品种经全国农业技术推广服务中心委托有关部门测定，全株粗蛋白含量9.43%，中性洗涤纤维含量42.77%，酸性洗涤纤维含量21.42%，消化利用率高。在年参加国家青贮玉米区试验，纤维含量达到一等标准（中性洗涤纤维含量≤45%）的所有通过试验的参试品种中全株粗蛋白含量排名第一。
产量表现：一般亩产生物产量（鲜）重5000公斤以上。2002年参加国家青贮玉米区域试验，平均亩产生物产量（鲜）重较对照农大108增产23.73%，居17个试验品种第一位。2003年参加国家青贮玉米区域试验，在东北华北春播玉米区，平均亩产生物（干）重较对照农大108增产13.5%,居16个试验品种第二位。在南方玉米区，较农大108增产6.64%，差异极显著。
抗 病 性：高抗小斑病、矮花叶病、丝黑穗病等多种病害，对纹枯病和大斑病表现为抗至中抗水平. 该品种年参加国家青贮玉米组区试对5种病害综合抗病分析，抗性排名第一。
栽培要点：该品种植株高大，叶片宽厚，应注意稀植，适宜密度株/亩，等行距种植或宽窄行种植均可；应选择在中等以上肥力的地块种植，亩施农家肥3000公斤或N、P、K三元复合肥30公斤做基肥，大喇叭口期每亩追施尿素30公斤左右；苗期注意蹲苗，在幼苗长到5-6片叶时，进行间苗定苗，结合中耕培土；及时防治病虫害；乳熟中期（籽粒1/4乳线至3/4乳线之间）收获。[1]
