Dr. Jose V. "Zito" Sartarelli has been elected chancellor of the University of North Carolina Wilmington by the Board of Governors of the 17-campus University of North Carolina. UNC System President Tom Ross nominated Dr. Sartarelli during the Board of Governors& quarterly meeting held April 10 at East Carolina University.
