我是广州华附高二普通班在读的学生。希望申请11年级转校，想咨询一下能申请到什么高度的学校。
我雅思模考(基本为裸考)6.5，写作5，听力8.5，口语阅读均为6.5。个人认为自己面试会比较有优势，因为比较开朗喜欢与人交流沟通，所以觉得申请环节中面试最有意思。爱好比较广泛(可惜目前没有什么发展到同龄人中顶尖水平的)，曾去过英国和美国游学各三周，故事就比较多，对欧美文化有一定了解。在华附是模联英文组组长。
如果要申请的话，我肯定会去考托福和SSAT，只是这个模考成绩是唯一一个可以证明英语水平粗略成绩了。我自己非常爱好英语和各种语言，如果要短时间内将标化成绩提上去我也还是有信心的。我喜欢人文学科多一些，有批判性思维，比较健谈。适应力比较强。想在这个时候申请转学是因为觉得美高全面多元的教育更加适合我。虽然在中国教育体制下成长了十来年，还是觉得标准化答案让我很不自在，喜欢研究研讨型的学习，对国内的文科教育不是很能接受，所以现在在读理科。
希望咨询一下按以往的情况有什么学校招收11年级的国际转学生？
是否需要Email至学校询问？
如果申请11年级是考SAT还是SSAT比较有竞争力？
哪一个申请环节学校会比较看重？
如果可以去美国校园面试的话是不是机会更大一些？

　　General Introduction
　　I am a third year master major in automation at Shanghai Jiao Tong
University, P. R. China. With tremendous interest in Industrial Engineering, I
am writing to apply for acceptance into your Ph.D. graduate program.
　　Education background
　　In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science &Technology (NUST)
-- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. During the
following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the
whole department. I was granted First Class Prize every semester,In 1999, I got
the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission test.
　　At the period of my graduate study, my overall GPA(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5%
in the department. In the second semester, I became teacher assistant that is
given to talented and matured students only. This year, I won the Acer
Scholarship as the one and only candidate in my department, which is the
ultimate accolade for distinguished students endowed by my university.
Presently, I am preparing my graduation thesis and trying for the honor of
Excellent Graduation Thesis.
　　Research experience and academic activity
　　When a sophomore, I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began to
narrow down my interest for my future research. With the tool of OpenGL and
Matlab, I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. It
is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. I assumed and fulfilled
a sewage analysis &dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This
was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.
　　In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and
experience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research
interests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research
(especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid
system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.

& & & & 等待了两个星期终于等到了成绩，凌晨爬起来查分，最终没有让一个月的时间白费，以总分7分，听力7分，阅读8分，写作和口语6.5的的单项成绩完美结束。不知道我的好友之中是否还有人在为雅思奋斗着，抑或将来要为其奋斗，在此我谨献上一点自己的技巧，毕竟我曾经的英语水平大家都看的到，初中英语只考8分的人，高中英语到了高三才勉勉强强发奋刚刚好够度过高考，究竟我是如何学习英语的我也愿意告诉大家。
&&&&&&& 关于雅思考试，我一共参加了三次，两次打酱油，为何说是打酱油，因为考试前我完全没有任何准备，没有做过一套完整的题，没有认真背单词，就是在南京上了6000块的培训班而已，结实了一堆到现在都还关系很好的朋友。言归正传，雅思考试现在普遍被认可，不管是学习还是工作，这是一个很好的证明自己英语实力的工具，比国内的什么CET有水准的多，至少它不会让一个以英语为母语的人考出一个屎一般的分数。

&&&&&&& 不管学什么，基础是最重要的，在我看来英语的基础不是语法而是单词，很多人认为自己英语学不好是因为语法不好，实则不然，单词才是最根本的原因。当你拿到一张试卷，一句话十个单词你五个看不懂，你还考什么试？也不要说什么词根词缀可以猜单词，你猜出来的永远没有你知道的有底气，考试的时候会严重影响心态，至少对于我来说是的。
&&&&&&& 江苏高考单词3500个，考纲里有，相信大家也还记得当年我们那本紫色的单词书吧，没错，我高三最后一个学期，就是靠着这本单词书活下来的，因为我把这本书反复看了五遍，我不敢说里面的每个单词你问我中文我都记得，但是我敢说里面没有我不认识的单词。那时候只要用空就看，不过我的主要看的时间是早晨坐30分钟的公交车。希望正在准备高考的同学们，如果你的英语不是你理想中的那么好，那么现在开始背单词，绝对来得及，一张卷子拿在手上你都看的懂比什么都重要。
&&&&&&& 而对于雅思来说，单词的重要性依旧，我前两次之所以成为了打酱油就是因为我自认为我熟知高考词汇3500就觉得天下无敌，两次基本都是凭着老本去拼，结果一次5.5，一次6。殊不知这3500单词里有多少化成灰你都记得的单词？于是开始准备这次的雅思考试的时候我就开始背单词，只要一遇到新的单词就记下来，这里推荐个个人认为比较好的工具《有道词典》，里面内置的单词本功能简单明了，有帐号的可以随时同步，有IPHONE的也可以同步到随时随地看（虽然我有但是不觉得有什么用）。你输入的新单词它会按时提醒你复习，非常简洁，是我喜欢的风格，背一个单词就是背一个单词，什么拓展什么联想都是尼玛狗屁。
&&&&&&& 说完了工具继续说单词的来源，对于雅思考试来说，你的新单词来源一定要是雅思真题，我的所有单词来源是雅思剑4到剑8的每一页，我说的是每一页，就是包括书上的听力，阅读，写作范文和听力稿部分。但是摄取新单词的时间当然不是你在做题的时候，而是在你做完一遍再检查之后再勾出你的新单词。我的做法是一一记录进我之前说的单词本，接下来电脑就会按时提醒你复习单词。当然，在复习单词的时候，你可以采用听写的方式，电脑报，然后你写下来，虽然，电脑发音有的时候很坑爹，但是大多数情况是准的，毕竟今后你有可能遇到各种各样的带有口音的口语，所以现在就经历一些不是坏事。
&&&&&&& 每篇阅读里的单词是必须要知道的，因为雅思考试的文章基本都是学术性很强的文章，所以当你背的多了以后会发现很多单词的使用频率很高，当然，背这些单词以后对你的写作也会是一项提高。除了阅读里的单词，还有就是听力题目以及听力录音稿的单词了，关于学习这些单词的方法跟上面差不多，听力肯
