Java based cross-platform editor
If you are a programmer or developer, editing is second nature but you need to make sure you have the right tools for the job with an editor like EditRocket.
Source code-focused users are going to appreciate EditRocket's code builders and easy-access elements such as macros, plug-ins and inserts. They'll also like the EditRocket web browser preview feature, as well as more standard options such as syntax checking and auto-complete. Programmers and other users will be happy to find that EditRocket has a great selection of text manipulation tools, a fully-customizable interface and file explorer. EditRocket isn't particularly pretty, but it is multifunctional and easy to use.
One of EditRocket's nicest features is what the program calls Sidekicks - little pop-out windows that provide access to the elements you are most likely to need when working, depending on which language you are using. The overall EditRocket experience is one of total comfort - it provides a text editor that has just as many, if not more, handy tools as both its peers and other, non-programming tools like Word.
However, Mac users should note that EditRocket is a cross-platform Java editor that doesn't fit OS X like a glove. Many won't like the fact that it seems like it was designed with Windows in mind and the Java often makes it slow.
Overall, EditRocket is a comfortable tool for stress-free
and programming although may be better on Windows than Macs.
