The dummystructure is bootstrapped just like the sensor and is also fedwith the force-feedback pulse. However, it is obvious that aperfect matching between MEMS capacitances andpoly/MIM capacitances in the dummy branch cannot beachieved. Consequently, the mismatch between the twobranches will translate into a variable offset at input of thedigital SDM. Figure 3 shows the scheme that is used in theinterface to minimize the mismatch between the twobranches[13].
