Error 1935 - An error occured during the installation of assembly component...
The information in this article applies to:
Any WinWay product
While trying to install the product, one of the&following error message appears:
"Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly component&B32777BF-8BCF-31D4-A891-BCFB51C54D25.& Hresult 0x."&&This error code stands for ERROR_SXS_COMPONENT_STORE_CORRUPT: The component store has been corrupted.
Error 1935.&An error occured during the installation of assembly component {A75F2217-AD54-3EA6-AE14-F255F8660531}.& HRESULT: 0x.
Resolution
Several resolution methods are listed.& Please try each one in sequence until the problem is solved.
Double click on My Computer
Right click on the CD ROM drive and select Explore
Double click on the "winres" folder
Double click on the file "WinWay Resume Deluxe".& This will start the installation
Click on "Start"
Right click on "Computer"
Select "Manage"
Expand "Services and applications"
Click on "Services"
Double click on&the "Windows Installer" service.&
If "Startup Type" is "Disabled", change it to "Manual".&
If "Service status" is "Stopped",&click on "Start".&&&
Click "OK"
Double click on the "Windows Modules Installer" service.&
If "Startup Type" is "Disabled", change it to "Manual".&
If "Service status" is "Stopped", click on "Start".&
Click "OK"
Click on "Start", "Computer"
Right click on drive "C" and select "Properties"
Click on the "Tools" tab
Under "Error checking", click on "Check now"
Check "Automatically fix file system errors"
Check "Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors"
Click "Start"
You may be instructed to reboot the computer for this process to complete
If any errors were found and corrected, try the installation again
Select "Start," "All Programs," "Accessories"
Right click on "Command prompt" and choose "run as administrator"
At the command prompt, type
& sfc& /scannow
Wait for completion of the test
Disable your&virus protection program
Try the installation again
Enable the virus protection program
