Abstract: Assets management is a very prevalent and comparatively mature financial agency service in developed countries. Driven by the rapid growth of the capital market and exponential development, regulation and innovation of the securities market in China ever since 1990s, the asset management business by securities companies of China have gained steady strides. At present, most securities companies, particularly the integrated securities companies, are engaged in assets management business. This article will first give an overview of the track record and current status of the asset management business of securities companies in China, and make clear the characters and risks of the assets management through analyzing the current situation of the assets management of our country, then it analyses the origins of risks and probes into reasons, then analyses how to manage the risks of China's securities companies in asset management innovation effectively, the final aim is to make assets management grow up healthy and sound in our capital market, thus become the new profit point of security company of our country.
