Military personnel
Members of the Canadian and U.S. military benefit from an enhanced baggage allowance whenever they travel on a flight operated by Air Canada, Air Canada rouge or Air Canada Express. Eligible active and retired members of the Canadian and U.S. military are entitled to up to three pieces of checked baggage, each weighing up to 32 kg (70 lb) each.
After completing their check-in, eligible customers are invited to see an airport agent to have their baggage fee waived, upon presentation of military identification.

Locked Bags

Global network expands
In 2015, Air Canada's network continues to expand with the addition of new international destinations. Air Canada is introducing year-round service between Toronto and Amsterdam, Delhi and Dubai and seasonal routes between Montreal and Mexico City, while Air Canada rouge will inaugurate seasonal flights between Vancouver-Osaka, and between Montreal-Venice. Adding these latest services to those launched in 2014 between Toronto and Tokyo-Haneda, Rio de Janeiro, Panama and Honolulu, further strengthens Air Canada's main international hub in Toronto to better serve passengers in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Everything you dreamed of&
Air Canada is renewing its international fleet with state-of-the-art and fuel efficient Boeing 787 Dreamliner and 777-300ER aircraft featuring new passenger amenities. Air Canada plans to operate 11 Boeing 787 Dreamliners by the end of 2015, with all 37 scheduled to be delivered by the end of 2019. The Dreamliner currently serves a growing list of routes from Toronto and Vancouver. Dreamliners are featured on Air Canada's routes from Vancouver to Asia (Shanghai, Beijing, Tokyo and Seoul) and select routes from Toronto (Tel Aviv, Copenhagen, London, Paris and Zurich).
