  南安普敦大学国际预科录取条件
  要求中国的高中毕业证书或者中国大学入学考试成绩,申请者完成了12年的教育成绩要求是80分,申请者完成了11年的教育,那么成绩要求是85分。
  工程类预科课程:要求高中毕业证书或者中国大学入学考试成绩80分,并且要求数学和物理考试成绩均不低于80分。
  科学类预科课程:要求高中毕业证书或者中国大学入学考试成绩80分,并且要求数学以及和科学主题相关的课程成绩达到80分。
  语言要求:在南安普顿大学攻读预科课程的中国学生,要求成绩5.5分,单科考试成绩均不得低于5.5分。要求成绩72分,写作不得低于17分,阅读不得低于18分,听力不得低于17分,口语不得低于20分,或者同等水平的英国移民局认可的语言考试。

The University is the birthplace of the technology that led to the development of the internet. Our researchers led the world in developing the optical amplifier, which connects people globally via the internet. Professor Sir Tim Berners-Lee, who invented the World Wide Web, is a member of the University’s staff&- Our aerodynamics research using our very own wind tunnel complex has helped the British Cycling team win seven gold medals, a silver medal and a bronze medal in the London 2012 Olympics. Our staff and students have worked to support over a 1,000 elite athletes as part of their preparation for the Beijing, Vancouver and most recently the London 2012 games.& Their engineering excellence has contributed to sports that won 50 per cent of Team GB's medals at last year's Olympics&- The University of Southampton was awarded a prestigious Queen’s Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education for its innovation and world-leading expertise in performance sports engineering. The prize recognises four decades of innovation in design and testing, and technical expertise – supporting high-performance sports competitors&- Engineers at the University of Southampton designed and flew the world’s first ‘printed’ aircraft, which could revolutionise the economics of aircraft design. The SULSA (Southampton University Laser Sintered Aircraft) plane is an unmanned air vehicle (UAV) whose entire structure has been printed, including wings, integral control surfaces and access hatches&- Communities of species previously unknown to science have been discovered by scientists from Southampton on the seafloor near Antarctica, clustered in the hot, dark environment surrounding hydrothermal vents. Other deep-sea expeditions revealed details of the world's most extreme deep-sea volcanic vents, five kilometres down in a rift in the Caribbean seafloor&- We design, build and operate the only autonomous submersibles ever to map below the Antarctic ice shelves, to aid the understanding of changes contributing to sea level rise.
