　　学校简介
　　上海海事大学是一所具有工学、管理学、经济学、法学和文学等学科门类的百年学府。现有全日制在校学生20000余名，其中本科生17000余人、各类研究生3000余人；专任教师近1000人，其中教授150名，约58%的教师具有博士学位。学校努力构建以&航运、物流、海洋&为核心的特色学科专业体系，向全国港航企事业单位及政府部门输送了大量优秀毕业生，被誉为&高级航运人才的摇篮&。
　　上海海事大学继续教育学院现有各层次各专业夜大学生1600余人。自1985年恢复招生以来，从单一的函授、专科学历教育发展到具有函授、夜大、成人高职等多种形式，专科、本科、专升本等多种层次的学历教育。现开设本科专业4个，专升本专业11个，专科专业4个。依托上海海事大学的师资、设备设施等优势资源，培养了2万余名本、专科毕业生，为国家航运业和地方经济社会发展作出了应有的贡献。

保留登录信息　　海海事大学继续教育学院是上海海事大学下属的二级学院，是专门从事成人高等学历教育和非学历教育的管理机构和办学实体，下设船员培训部、函授夜大部、继续教育部三个教学管理机构，分别负责组织各类船员参加国家海事局适任证书的考证培训和特殊培训，成人学历教育(本、专科)和专业证书教育，交通系统高中层次管理干部和技术干部岗位培训和继续教育以及面向上海及浦东的各类技术培训。继续教育学院拥有独立的教学办公楼、学生宿舍、计算机房、语音室、食堂等教学生活设施，有一整套行政、教学、教材、总务、财务等管理和服务系统，2008年8月， 继续教育学院\上海船员培训中心整体搬迁至浦东大道1608号（高恒大厦）五楼。
　　继续教育学院下设四个教育培训机构均有多年办学经验，培训规模和质量在上海市和交通系统有一定的声誉和影响。
　　据统计，经我院船员培训部培训的船长、轮机长、大副、大管轮、三副、三管轮共计3万多人次。培训质量在全国名列前茅。
　　函授夜大部自1985年恢复招生以来，从单一的函授教育发展到函授、夜大、成人高职等多种形式的教育，培养规格从原先单一的专科学历教育发展到现在的专科、本科以及专升本等多层次的学历教育；现有本科专业4个，专升本专业8个，专科专业7个。
　　继续教育部为交通系统处级干部举办的MBA知识班已举办多年，共为上海港、长航、宁波港、连云港、芜湖港、舟山交通委等单位培训了20多期，其余有：货运代理、物流、国际航运业务、集装箱运输、外轮理货、英语口译、计算机、电子商务等各类培训班，继续教育部年培训人数达1500人左右。

I. background introduction
The information of the United Nations International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the relevant international shipping organizations shows that the shortage of senior international seafarers will exist for a long time in the international seafarer service market in twenty-first Century. At the same time, the data indicate that the world seafarer service market will gradually move eastward, and Southeast Asian countries, including China, will become the main areas for international seafarer output.
Shanghai Maritime Univeristy School of continuing education, Shanghai Maritime Univeristy is the main institution of maritime education and training, years of dedicated training with the United Nations International Maritime Organization &crew training, certification and watchkeeping International Convention& (STCW78 / 95 Convention) as well as domestic maritime management regulations require senior maritime occupation technical personnel. For many years, the Institute has carried out the quality system of the Norway Classification Society (DNV), the Ministry of communications and the maritime bureau, and has undertaken a large number of training, professional training, intensive training and higher vocational education for seafarers. The college's educational training is of good quality and has a good reputation. The objective of this training program is to meet the demand for marine talents in the development of international and domestic shipping through the characteristics, advantages and comprehensive competitiveness of Shanghai Maritime Univeristy in maritime education and training.
