这是本人第一次发帖，本人一直是修台式机的对于修笔记本一直不敢想，一天一个客户拿来一个笔记本。说有时开不了机。我开机，电源灯一亮一灭反复，谈好了价格，客人走后。我用可调电源开机都正常，再用电池开机也可以开机了。我关机等了半个多小时再用电池开机，又开不了反复重启，用外接电源可以正常开机。最近正在自学正好拿来测测练练，拆机。。。。电池开机在笔记反复重启的时候，我把可调电源插上发现电流到0.45A就掉，反复如此。反复重启十几次开机了，肯定是哪个芯片热了就开机了。拔掉可调电源等半个小时电池又开不了。开热风枪吹主板，果然开机了。但不知道是哪个芯片问题，只有一个一个试，最后锁定加热超级单芯片可以开机。手里没有BGA，只有用热风枪死命的吹了。冷却了一个小时按上电池。心里祈祷啊，按开关看到风扇转了。屏幕亮了。第一次修笔记本激动啊。感觉自信了不小

抱歉我不想打太多字，呵呵。一开始怀疑CPU供电的，也怀疑了电池管理芯片。是我没有说详细我把图纸传上去大家自己看吧

我说的可能有点简单了，中间的弯路走了不少。我也拿图纸测了电池管理芯片，CPU供电，显卡供电，也怀疑是电池坏了& &主要以为是CPU供电的电容漏电也换过，这个问题论坛也没有找到参考& &&&图纸在此大家自己看看吧。

On my VAIO, I cannot enter the bios.&& I want to enable hardware address translation virtualization for hyper-V and I want to change the boot order to thr cdrom first to install windows 7 (maybe on a partition or a vhd if I can solve thr firsat problem.& I am a programmer at microsoft so I know enough not to shoot myself in the foot with bad bios settings.& I have hit F2 at thr VAIO screen at system startup to no affect.& Being locked out of features on a machine I thought I owned (I did pay for this machine) is exceptionally frustrating and I don't understand how getting into BIOS could actually be difficult unless I was intentionally locked out.&&If this is to save users from themselves then maybe I can understand but i've been looking this up and so far no succcess.& Is blocking me out of BIOS&by design?& If so, then I feel robbed - please tell me how to enter BIOS settings.

I was able to find it after searching more.& I don't know why it's so hard to get to - like some buriee magical secret but here is the answer to the riddle:&&Befor you press the power button, PRESS and HOLD the ASSIST button and then the power button. Now you get the menu you want.&Holding the assist button from after the moment the machine powers on may also be helping but i still only succeed intermitantly.& Wacky -how hard they made it - why?&I fould the hardware SLAT for hyper-v in the 2 - (or F2 ?) advanced bios settings screen.& Geeeeeeeezzz - SONY!

Hello, Superduperandy.& Sorry for the confusion.& Microsoft made requirements for a change to BIOS & recovery access options for Windows 8.&&In previous Windows&Operating Systems,&hooks had to be inserted to 'catch' the boot cycle at the right point with the F2 key to induce the PC to go into BIOS mode, or F8 to boot to the Advanced Boot Options screen.& But Windows 8 uses a hybrid shut down state, and also boots so quickly that it is nearly impossible to catch the boot cycle by pressing even a single key at the right moment.& Booting to BIOS or recovery has changed for nearly all OEMs, as a result.& On all VAIO PCs with Windows 8 preinstalled, just shut down the PC using the normal WIndows 8 shut down procedure.& Then, instead of using the power button to start it, just press the Assist button.& Booting from Assist will take you to an options menu which includes BIOS and recovery.& I have included a picture of the screen you should see when you boot from the Assist button below.& This screen includes instruction to use F2 to get to BIOS, but F2 only works to get there when you have this screen up on the PC.

I found this thread because I have the same problem for windows 8. The difference is that the laptop was wiped and has no sony software on it, so it doesn't show the boot menu when press assist. Please include the link to the software that has to be installed. I have an F series Vaio. Thank you!

You will need to purchase recovery media to reinstantiate the Vaio Recovery Partition that the Assist button boots to. &Please post your exact Vaio Model and i can look up the Recovery Media part number for you if it is a Latin America, USA, or Canada model.

The model is Sony Vaio VPCF13Z8E. I don't know the provenience of the model, but it's imposiible to find any drivers/software for it. Thank you!

It is very rare that I take the time to sign up for a forum, and even less likely that I take the time to comment. You have to purchase recovery media? That is absolutely aweful. When purchasing business or personal laptops in the future, I will research this facet of the hardware before purchasing, as it will be a deciding factor. As for windows 8, It will never be on any hardware I deploy. Just like Vista wasn't. I will out wait the horrible &that is windows 8.&I am sure there is still someway to directly access the BIOS. I cannot believe that BIOS access would be per-verted in this way.

Fortunately, the internet has a solution. Press and hold the F2 key before pressing the power button. This took me directly to the BIOS.

【伟云拆修】sony笔记本PCG-41215T不开机，CMOS放电就能开机，不知为何？

同事拿来一个sony笔记本PCG-41215T让我帮修，一拿到手，我就倒吸口凉气，这个本子全集成（CPU、内存），一旦坏，连回血的机会都没有。以前也遇到过这个型号的笔记本，是排线接触不良，这个本子排线太TM多了。这次这个本子，连待机电流都没有，也不能给电池充电，感觉像是电都没进来一样，于是拆开机器想看个究竟，捣鼓来捣鼓去，没啥进展，快宣布放弃时，测试过程中，发现有个排线拔掉，主板就有19.5V供电，以为有短路呢，也没测到啥短路的地方（主要供电的电感、电容附近）。把主板拆下来看了看，实在搞不定了，就原样再装回去吧，我勒个去，通电，好了！！！！！！难道又是排线接触不好？！如果不是排线问题的话，请各位高手指点一二，反正现在能用了。日更新，这个笔记本没用几天，又不能开机了，我今天拆开后，捣鼓了一下，原来发现，只要卸掉CMOS电池（或者清一下）就能开机了，不知道为何会这样？有高手能解答一下吗？

估计是CMOS电池电量不足，或者是超温后机器保护而不能开机，CMOS放电后就又能开机了。

据说sony保护措施很完善，可能是过热保护，CMOS放电就好了。现在把CMOS电池也换新的了，一直在用。
