MPlayerX is a simple, clean and powerful multimedia player specially designed to help you enjoy your favorite movies and TV shows.
All-in-one multimedia player for everyday use
MPlayerX features a minimalistic user interface that enables you to watch multimedia content without getting distracted by intrusive buttons and toolbars. At the same time MPlayerX is powered by FFmpeg and MPLayer, fact that translates in support for a wide variety of multimedia formats.
Mac users that prefer the multi-touch trackpad or Magic Mouse to the traditional mouse will be happy to know that they can use gestures to control MPlayerX. Simple tap, swipe or pinch gestures offer you great control over the playback.
Automatically loads subtitles and subsequent media files
What is more, MPlayerX is capable to automatically detect, convert and display all sort of subtitles, from Latin and Eastern Asia languages to Arabic and Hebrew. On top of that, MPlayerX automatically loads the next episode, as long as the file names are numbered using a sequential pattern.
Furthermore, MPlayerX helps you play YouTube videos, you just have to copy and paste the URL address of the video into the Open URL window. Once loaded the video files, you can sit on your couch and control MPlayerX with your Apple Remote.
Remotely control MPlayerX
MPlayerX also provides support for Remote Buddy and Sofa Control, fact that enables you to remotely control the player from the comfort of your couch. If you are not happy with the image of the played media, you have the option to open the Video Tuner and adjust the brightness, saturation, contrast, gamma, hue and sharpness with just a few mouse clicks.
Same goes for the audio, access the Equalizer and make the necessary adjustments until you are happy with the sound quality. At the same time, the On-screen display allows you to adjust the playback speed, audio or subtitle delay in order to correct out of sync videos.

我在播放avi文件时中间的那个图标无法去掉，请问这是这么回事？
1、MplayerX播放器是最新的1.0.22.1
2、MAC系统是10.10的

确实有bug吧，前几天开个mkv文件播放，闪一下就没了，用vlc看也崩溃，最后用PPS来播放没问题

奉劝大家，软件自带的更新不成功的话，去官网单独下载安装时也要小心，安装时会联网更新很长时间，提示安装完成后，mplayerX还停留在之前的版本，系统上多出了一个Mackeeper，不用卸载软件根本卸载不了。另外安装过程中，Norton还会报病毒。有可能官网被劫持了？请大家小心啊！
