大家会问这不是在聊《契约》吗，为什么会去说《普罗米修斯》女主肖恩。 那是因为导演在《普》中埋下了大量的坑，需要《契约》来填。 《普罗米修斯》的结尾，肖恩和大卫登上工程师的飞船，飞向工程师木星。 《契约》中的船员发现了工程师木星肖恩的那首《Take Me Home, Country Roads》。
这首歌成了《契约》一切事件的导火线。 契约号在去往殖民星球路上的时候，拦截到了肖恩唱的这首美国乡村民谣。 通过计算，发现了工程师的母星，一个适合人类居住并且距离很近的星球。 于是契约号改变航线前往该星球。
因为大卫在工程师母星做异形实验已经把整个星球的有机生命全部糟蹋光了，而他自己由于种种原因没办法离开星球，所以只能发出人类熟知的相信音乐信号吸引人类过来，计划得逞。 那么肖恩是在什么时候唱的这首歌，又出于什么目的唱的这首歌呢？ 从《契约》影片传送模糊的视频来看，肖恩是驾驶着工程师飞船唱的这首歌。 那么唱这首歌出于两个目的，第一个很简单就是想家了，所以平时哼起了这首歌，谁知道日后被大卫利用了变成了传播信号吸引人类前来的诱饵。 第二个目的就很脑洞了。 我的理解是，大卫和肖恩在飞往母星的过程中，他们进行了不断的头脑风暴式的哲学长谈，也学习了很多很多工程师世界的只是体系（不要忘了，肖恩是科学家，科学家的世界观和常人不一样，格局一般比较大）。 于是大卫说服了肖恩，让肖恩做出了自我牺牲，完成和黑水的进化。
为什么我会这么分析，我有证据。
