赛末点，若被糟蹋，便成了伤心处。
离战胜费德勒，罗迪克只差一记ACE球，那本是他最大的法宝。但3个赛末点，被一一挽救，罗迪克前功尽弃。他在先胜一盘的情况下，第二盘抢七局以6比4领先。他需要做的，只是发球，然后得分，罗迪克从未感到胜利如此接近。但关键的时刻，他却熄火了。没有威胁的发球，让费德勒轻松化解险情。站在失利的边缘，费德勒又逃过之后两劫。输了心气的罗迪克，再没能振作起来。
