Lime Rock, a US private equity firm specialising in energy investments, has hired a former oil engineer as a managing director to take charge of its investment team in Houston.

Comras to lead Lime’s expansion in South Florida
Miami Beach-based Comras Company has been named the exclusive leasing agent for Lime Fresh Mexican Grill’s planned expansion in South Florida. The announcement follows the purchase of Lime by Ruby Tuesday, which plans to grow the brand by 200 locations on the east coast. Lime Street Expansion Plans
Radio City News has learned that Liverpool's Lime Street Station could be given a huge face lift as part of plans to improve the rail network.
The proposals include a new platform and current ones being expanded to allow for three extra services an hour.
The work - which could go ahead in 2017 or 2018 - could see the station close for a couple of months.
A spokesman for Network Rail said: &Network Rail is looking to make significant improvements to the journeys made by millions of passengers who use Liverpool Lime Street every year.
&These improvements would see significant investment in a new track design and layout on the approaches to the station and renewing worn out assets and signalling which would enable faster and more reliable services to run.
&&Network Rail is currently talking to key people and organisations across the city to finalise its plans and identify the best time to carry out these significant improvements.&
A spokesman for Network Rail said: &Our plans are constantly reviewed so we are focussed on minimising disruption and maximising benefits to passengers. We need to widen the scope of the original programme to deliver additional work which includes installing additional overhead lines so the railway is more efficient, effective and resilient. This work will not take place in 2016 and we are working with stakeholders in Liverpool to plan the best time to carry out these improvements in 2017 or 2018.&
