The Chattanooga Lookouts defeated the Montgomery Biscuits 4-1 on Monday to eliminate the Biscuits from the Southern League playoffs.&The Lookouts defeated the Biscuits 3-1 in a best-of-5 series to move on to the next round.&David Hurlbut picked up the win for the Lookouts, going seven innings and giving up one run on six hits. Hurlbut walked two batters and struck out four.Taylor Guerrieri was hit with the loss for the Biscuits, giving up two earned runs on four hits in five innings of work. Guerrieri walked four batters and struck out five.&Montgomery's lone run of the night came from Jake Bauers who hit a solo home run off of Hurlbut with two outs in the bottom of the second inning. Bauers led the Biscuits with two hits.&Montgomery held a 1-0 lead after Bauers' home run in the second inning, but half an inning later the Lookouts added to runs to take the lead for good.&Chattanooga's Stephen Wickens scored after Bauers missed a pick-off attempt at first base. Later in the inning, Travis Harrison singles to right field, bringing in Max Kepler to make it 2-1.&In the fifth inning, D.J. Hicks hit a sacrifice fly to right field to score Kepler, which gave the Lookouts a 3-1 lead. Then in the eighth inning, Chattanooga's Adam Walker II hit a home run to left field to make it 4-1.&Copyright 2015&. All rights reserved.
