what do they needd ______the...

这里they need是定语从句,修饰前面的information;have sth done使某事被做。 He went from door to door ______ the milk.A. deliver&&&&&& B. delivering&&& C. delivered&&&&&&&&& D. to deliver解析:B。

From my first day, I was attending press conferences
and other media events all over town. I got to attend events at places I had
never thought I’d get to: the White House, the Senate and House of
Representative buildings at the Capitol (国会大厦), the
Department of Health and Human Services, just to name a few. And I was sent to
cover these events as if I were a reporter, not just an intern (实习生) .
&In fact, I never really felt like an intern. I
was given the opportunity to do the work that everyone else at the paper was
doing. I covered stories on my own and wrote the articles myself. I was
included in discussions for story ideas. I helped to edit the articles that
went into the paper. I was able to take part in every aspect of the newspaper
that I wanted to experience.
&The best part of working at the Nation’s Health
was the staff. They were supportive in letting me go out and do things on my
own, while I always knew that they would be more than happy to answer any
questions or help me with any problems I might have. Best of all, they treated
me as their equal, not just an intern whom they could get to do all the work
they didn’t want to do.
After interning at the Nation’s Health for nearly
seven months and having more than 30 articles published, I had to move on. My
experience there gave me insight into how the media work, which helps me when
I’m trying to choose stories. In addition, it showed me that work really can be
fun.

I believe that the committee will consider our suggestion. “How long can I keep the book ?”Harry asked. Bethune set us a good example. Crude oil contains many useful substances. It happened in June 1932. My watch stopped. She spoke at the meeting yesterday evening. Shall I begin at once?我可以立刻开始吗?(begin作不及物动词)She began working as a librarian after she left school. (began作及物动词)When did they leave Chicago? Wash your hands before meals. Does this cloth wash well? We arrived at the railway station at noon. (at不能省去)(比较:We reached the railway station at noon.)Everybody listened to the lecture with great interest. (to不可省去)(比较:We all heard the lecture.)Do they agree to the plan? Our children are taught to serve the people wholeheartedly.

How&does&she&go&to&school?&动词短语:由动词和动短语成,或以动词为中心,功能同动词的短语叫动词短语,动词短语是动词的一种固定搭配形式,动词短语的搭配可分为下列四种基本类型。 动词+副词 ①作及物动词,例:&He brought up his children strictly. ②作不及物动词,例: &Something unexpected has turned up. The barrel of gunpowder blew up.(不及物)火药桶爆炸了。 The soldiers blew up the bridge.(及物)士兵们把桥炸毁了。 2. I don’t much care for television. (care for=like) 3. 它兼有以上两类短语动词的特点,但宾语总是位于介词之后,例:&We must work hard to make up for lost time. (make up for=compensate) 4. (have a try=v.try) 5. Keep an eye on the baby while I am out. I know he is slow at understanding, but you have to be patient with him.
He turn on the radio .Bob turned out smiling.
He awoke late the following morning .
He woke up late the following morning .
