Procurement of Management Services
The World Bank
December 2007
This “Sample Prequalification Document for Procurement of Management Services” has been prepared by the World Bank and is based on its Standard Procurement Document “Prequalification Document for Procurement of Works and User’s Guide” which in turn was based on the Master Procurement Document “ Prequalification Document for Procurement of Works” issued by the Multilateral Development Banks and International Financial Institutions.
This document is recommended for use on a voluntary, trial basis when a prequalification process takes place prior to the bidding process for procurement of Management Services through International Competitive Bidding
in projects that are financed in whole or in part by the World Bank.
It is recommended that the bidding process to follow after prequalification be carried out in accordance with the procedures indicated in the companion Sample Bidding Documents: Procurement of Management Services, issued by the World Bank.
