资料概述与简介
计 依据《新课程标准》（强调学习过程，重视语言学习的实践性和应用性）及学情，制定如下目标：
一、教学三维目标
1.知识与技能：
(1)掌握有关交通的词汇，如take the subway/train, ride the bicycle, by bus/boat, transportation, bus stop, train station，kilometer, mile, river以及其他一些词汇。
(2)掌握由how引导的特殊疑问句，表示乘坐何种交通工具的方式.how far ,how long 引导的特殊疑问句及其答句：
How do you get to school? I ride my bike.
How long does it take?
It takes about ...minutes.
How far is it from your home to school? It’s ...miles...
(3)复习基数词及时间的表达方法.
(4)了解中外文化的差异.
2.过程与方法：
(1)情景交际法
3.情感态度与价值观：
通过教学任务的完成，使学生牢固掌握谈论交通工具和距离的表达方法。使学生将所学知识与实际生活紧密联系，学会应用英语表达思想感情，学会合作学习，探究学习。
(1)学会人际交往，形成综合运用英语的能力。
(2)学会谈论交通工具和距离；
(3)学会合理安排行程，并合理选用交通工具.
(4)学会设计实践调查报告中的问题，并提出解决问题的简单方案.
二、教学重点、难点
1.学习并掌握how /how far /how long 引导的特殊疑问句.
2.掌握乘坐交通工具的表示方法.如take the subway, by bus等.
掌握相应的句型,如How do you get to school? How long does it take? How far is it from ...to...? 等.
3.掌握并熟练运用句型：It takes /will take/took sb some time to do sth .
4.分层次地学会下列单词：
1）学习并掌握与交通有关的词汇：take（搭乘、花费） walk train bicycle boat car by stop station
2）学习并掌握数词：forty fifty sixty seventy ninety hundred
3）学习时间和距离的词汇：minute far kilometer shower quick early mile
4）掌握并运用下列词汇：north part thing other river must more than town ill worry so much
5）学习词和词组：eight transportation North America depend on means look at

Step I Greet the class as usual and check the homework
Step II 2a
Now open your books at page 20. Look at the transportation pictures. I’ll ask a student to identify each picture.
Step III 2b
First point to the clocks and their times. Ask eight students to read the time one by one to the class.

Sa: How long does it takel?
Sb: It takes about 10 minutes to walk and 15 minutes by us.
Step V Grammar Foucus
Review the grammar focus box. Ask students to say the statements and responses.
Step VI Summary
This class we’ve learnt to talk about how to get to school and how long it takes to get to school.
Step VII Homework
Write down grammar sentences in your exercise books.
