I’d like to stay healthy, but to be honest, I only eat food that tastes good. And if food tastes good, it’s usually bad for you, isn’t it? Cola tastes better than water, for example.

Well, I agree it’s good to eat lots of fruit and vegetables, but I think it’s also fine to eat some meat or fish. People ( who eat a balanced diet) should be healthier than those (who only eat biscuits and hamburgers,) shouldn’t they? I prefer to only eat food that I like, but isn’t it important to eat food that’s healthy, even if you don’t like it? The main thing is to have a good balance.

电子邮件英语很有趣的，它几乎像是写谜语。你能自己轻松地掌握它并尝试你自己的想法。写电子邮件英语并非不无礼，但重要的是只能在合适的时间去写-----当你给朋友发邮件或用手机给朋友发短信时。但你不能在课堂上用，并且要记住如果你在考试中写电子邮件英语，你的老师会不高兴的。
接受金钱让我感到不舒服
很多书的主题都是“给予的艺术”，那有关接受的艺术呢？有些时候接受一件礼物也是很困难的，特别是当别人买给你的礼物你其实并不想要。
“我记得我在大概十二岁的时候，我的父母给我买了一个紫色的钱包”郭小晶（音译）笑道，“真是尴尬，因为老实说，我觉得那个钱包真的很丑。但我还是装成我很喜欢，因为我知道这样我爸妈会很高兴！”
韩灵（音译）同意这个观点。“我祖父母也是！前几年的时候，我祖父母在我生日的时候给了我一件橙色的毛衣。我每次去看他们的时候就会穿上它，但是当我一离开他们家，我就会脱掉。很显然，这毛衣让我感到羞愧。送我毛衣是一件好的事情，但是我祖父母和我的品味不同。我觉得给别人买衣服或者是一些私人物品是很难的。”
为了省事，有些人宁愿选择送钱。在有的文化当中，接受钱会让人很不舒服。约翰·威尔逊说：“当别人给我钱时，这让我觉得他们很懒。在英国有句话叫做‘心意最重要’，当他们给我钱时，我会认为他们根本不放在心上。我更希望收到的礼物是有些意义在里面的，我并不介意这是不是我所需要的。如果有人花心思在我的礼物上，这会让我感到很开心。”
在这个问题上，不同的人有不同的想法！所以可能接受的艺术比给予的艺术更加复杂！你认为呢？
他已经参观了他祖先生活过的地方
你曾经回到你的祖先生活、工作、学习和玩耍过的地方吗？罗伯特·钱，一个加拿大华人，已经做过了。现在在中国，他发现他的家族像一棵拥有长根系的高大树木。
罗伯特正是来探望他祖先的家园的一位年轻的华侨，（他的寻访）是“寻根”夏令营活动的一部分。这项活动是由广东省的当地政府组织的。这项活动开始于1980年，并且迄今已使成千上万名海外华人学生到中国寻找他们家族的根源。这些年轻人通常在16至25岁之间。大多数，像罗伯特，几乎不会讲任何中文，而且以前从未到过中国。
这些学主要访问了位于中国南部广东省的部分地区。在为期两周的夏令营活动中，他们学习中国文化，了解了那个地区发生的变化，并访问感兴趣的景点。回到他们的祖先住过的村庄往往是最激动人心的部分。这些学生感到他们就是村子的一部分，而且体验了乡村生活。他们喝村里的井水，在乡村散步，并观看了村民们的日常活动。
凯蒂·秦，一名年轻的美国学生，这样说：“感谢寻找根源，我开始明白我的中国根，和我是谁。这是一个伟大的旅行，并且我有这么多中国的回忆伴随着我。”
该计划的领导人坚信这项计划并说它的目的是让年轻的海外华人有机会更多地了解自己。“到目前为止我真的喜欢这次旅行，”罗伯特说。“对我来说这已经是一大步，并且我期待我在这儿期间发现更多有关我祖辈的事情。”
