首先知道remain是谓语动词 所以后面不能再是谓语动词根据意思判断seat是说明主语（省略了）的状态的，所以只能填表语 而seated就是可以作表语的非谓语形式。表语和系动词是不能分割的整体
如果后面有表语 前面的动词就一定是系动词。再如 the milk went bad.
牛奶变质了。 bad是形容词是说明主语的所以是表语，所以went是系动词，而不是行为动词。
remain seating 保持一直坐着的姿势（强调自愿主动坐下）remain seated 保持就坐,表示被动地坐下（带有强制性）显然在飞机着陆前,是强制要求坐下的.
remain后面加动词过去式表示一种状态
