When we began work on the new Mac Pro, we considered every element that defines a pro computer — graphics, storage, expansion, processing power, and memory. And we challenged ourselves to find the best, most forward-looking way possible to engineer each one of them. When we put it all together, the result was something entirely new. Something radically different from anything before it. Something that provides an extremely powerful argument against the status quo.
Engineered around workstation graphics with dual GPUs, PCIe-based flash storage, high-performance Thunderbolt 2, new-generation Xeon processors, ultrafast memory, and support for 4K video, the new Mac Pro delivers state-of-the-art performance across the board.

The new Mac Pro is muscle through and through, starting with the new-generation Intel Xeon E5, available with 4, 6, 8, or 12 cores of processing power on a single die. And with up to 30MB of L3 cache, 40GB/s of PCI Express gen 3 bandwidth, and 256-bit-wide floating-point instructions, you’ll never be at a loss for speed.

Every component in the new Mac Pro is optimized for performance. That includes a four-channel DDR3 memory controller running at 1866MHz. It supports up to 64GB of memory and delivers up to 60GB/s of memory bandwidth, which means you can fly through even the most compute-intensive tasks in no time. And since it’s ECC memory, your render job, video export, or simulation won’t be stopped by transient memory errors.

New Mac ProUp to 7 teraflops
Previous Mac Pro2.7 teraflops
Traditionally, pro computers have relied primarily on the CPU for their computing power. But as GPU performance has dramatically increased, software developers have begun to leverage that power in their apps. With the new Mac Pro, we looked ahead and engineered an even more powerful GPU architecture. Not only does it feature a state-of-the-art AMD FirePro workstation-class GPU — it features two of them. And each is available with 2GB, 3GB, or 6GB of dedicated VRAM and up to 2048 stream processors. With all that power, you’ll be able to do things like seamlessly edit full-resolution 4K video while simultaneously rendering effects in the background — and still have enough power to connect up to three high-resolution 4K displays.
faster than SATA solid-state drive
PCIe flash storage1200MB/s
SATA flash drive500MB/s
SATA hard drive110MB/s
There’s flash storage, and then there’s next-generation PCIe-based flash storage. We’re talking storage that’s up to 2.4 times faster than the fastest SATA-based solid-state drive and up to 10 times faster than a 7200-rpm SATA hard drive. Most flash storage systems connect via SATA buses designed for slower spinning hard drives. But we designed the new Mac Pro around new PCIe-based flash controller technology to deliver the fastest solid-state drives available standard in a desktop computer. So you’ll have up to 1TB of storage that will let you boot up, launch apps, and even open massive files in, well, a flash.
The new Mac Pro packs an unprecedented amount of power in an unthinkable amount of space. A big reason we were able to do that is the ingenious unified thermal core. Rather than using multiple heat sinks and fans to cool the processor and graphics cards, we built everything around a single piece of extruded aluminum designed to maximize airflow as well as thermal capacity. It works by conducting heat away from the CPU and GPUs and distributing that heat uniformly across the core. That way, if one processor isn’t working as hard as the others, the extra thermal capacity can be shared efficiently among them. No computer has been built this way before. And yet it makes so much sense, it’s now hard to imagine building one any other way.
Previous Mac Pro
New Mac Pro
An incredible amount of innovation went into designing a fan system capable of cooling such a high-performance device. Instead of adding extra fans, we engineered a single, larger fan that pulls air upward through a bottom intake. As air passes vertically through the center of the device, it absorbs heat and carries it out the top. It’s simple and elegant — and also astonishingly quiet. To achieve that, we had to consider every detail: the number of blades, the size of the blades, the spacing of the blades, and even the shape of the blades. By minimizing air resistance throughout the system, we were able to design a fan with backward-curved impeller blades that runs at fewer revolutions per minute, draws air more efficiently as it spins, and creates considerably less noise.
In creating a pro computer for the future, we wanted to provide an enormous amount of expansion — without being limited to the space inside the enclosure. Designed with built-in Thunderbolt 2, USB 3, Gigabit Ethernet, and HDMI 1.4 ports, Mac Pro sets a new standard in flexible, high-performance expansion. It’s our most expandable Mac yet. And it has everything you need to build a workstation completely customized to what you need and how you work.

Connect up to three
Thunderbolt combines PCI Express and DisplayPort into one high-speed, versatile I/O technology. And with Mac Pro, we’re jumping even further ahead. Thunderbolt 2 delivers twice the throughput, providing up to 20Gb/s of bandwidth to each external device. So you’re more than ready for the next generation of high-performance peripherals, without being limited by the number of expansion slots inside your computer. You can connect massive amounts of storage, add a PCI expansion chassis, and work with the latest external displays — including 4K desktop displays and peripheral devices capable of broadcast monitoring in 4K. And since each Thunderbolt 2 port allows you to daisy-chain up to six peripherals, you can go all out by plugging in up to 36 external devices via Thunderbolt 2 alone.

Mac Pro equips you with all kinds of connections for all kinds of peripherals. USB 3 gives you the versatility to hook up dozens of different types of external devices. Two Gigabit Ethernet ports let you connect to multiple networks. And an HDMI 1.4 port provides support for the latest televisions, projectors, and displays, including Ultra HD TVs. But the thought we put into expandability extends beyond the types of peripherals you can use. As you rotate Mac Pro to plug in a device, it senses the movement and automatically illuminates the I/O panel. So you can easily see the ports you need when you need them.
Access your network over three-stream 802.11ac Wi-Fi for the latest in high-speed wireless connectivity. For all your other wireless connections, Mac Pro includes Bluetooth 4.0. It’s the easiest way to connect your keyboard, mouse, and other wireless devices without having to physically attach anything.
The new Mac Pro looks unlike any other computer. Because it is unlike any other computer. By rethinking the architecture of its internal components, we had the chance to rethink the entire enclosure. And since everything centers around a unified thermal core, we were free to design a much leaner, lighter, quieter, and far more streamlined structure. Its unique design and beautiful finishes are executed to an extraordinary degree of precision. And at just 9.9 inches tall with a diameter of just 6.6 inches, it’s a pro desktop computer that can actually sit on your desk.
The new Mac Pro is a breakthrough in every way. Including how it's manufactured.
A triangular thermal core formed using advanced extrusion techniques and precision machining allows for a more compact design and higher thermal efficiency.
Refined impact extrusion technologies are more material-efficient and give the polished aluminum enclosure its incredible shape and finish.
With the new Mac Pro, we assemble the entire product and machine several of its high-precision components in the United States. By leveraging the innovative power of industry-leading companies in Texas, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, and over a dozen other states across America, we're able to build a product that's impeccably constructed and beautiful in every detail. In other words, exactly as it was envisioned by our designers and engineers in California.

You guys seem to like them as well, so let’s try to make them a regular column. I will release a new poll every other Monday (so twice a month). The only doubt that I have is whether or not I should follow up with a post on the following week highlighting the results. Let me know what you guys prefer.
Anyway today’s poll is about the number of blogs that each of us own. At one point in time I was running six blogs actively. This year I sold some of them, so right now I am running three blogs actively. Notice that you don’t need to write on the blog for it to be counted. As long as you own it, that is fine. Secondly, only count active blogs please (i.e. with at least a couple of posts per month).
Have your say in our poll, and feel free to leave a comment as well.

I’m running more than 5 blogs
Right now, I have only one blog. I have always believed that being focused is the best way to run a blog and I concentrate fully on it.
Another reason for only one blog is that I do not get too much free time.
In my opinion, starting with just one blog and later expanding is a great strategy as new blogs benefit a lot from established blog. A great example was Darren’s Twitip. He already had 2 well established blogs when he started it and it got a lot of benefit from this.
Dana@Online Knowledge
I have 4 blog but only 2 active, so i vote for 2.
Available Domains Blog
4 blogs full time and willing to test few more part time.
As here we are four friends, We can successfully run more than 5 blogs. Newly launched one is
. It helps people to make money online via blogging from scratch. We run a daily contest for winning free domain & hosting also.
So how many blogs is not matter. What you are dealing with those blogs really matter. Offer some great content, it might be updates, news or how to blogs. If you help others in some way, your blogs start grow & make money for you.
Generally niche bloggers start more blogs in all type of high paying niches. Its also a good idea.
I only have one blog right now, but I have several other domains.
Not sure what the future will bring.
Right now I have an outside job five days/week, so I don’t have the time to devote on more than one.
For now, only 1. I had to quit another because of some scheduling issues. However, I’m planning to be slightly productive next year, a chance to try something new on a site. Will see. ^^

I voted for 3 because that is all I could think of. I am pretty sure I only have 3 left. I sold a few recently.
Only one active, but I’ve got two dormant ones (actually, four if you count a personal one and one which I started and never got off the ground…)
BloggerDaily
I run different blogs fro different niches and reasons =)
I have 2 blogs–one on a free platform, the other one is paid-hosted.
Funny, but the free one is the one that gets traffic…guess it has to do with the content topic being more popular on that one, plus I have 2 great incoming links.
Links really do help a lot!
I have been blogging at two blogs, one written in English, the other written in Chinese. I dream one day that both of them will be as popular as Dailyblogtips.

Four. One writing blog. One blog of knitting book reviews. One blog of weekly book discussions. One knitting/personal blog.
Dave Doolin | Website In A Weekend
More than 5, but most are moribund and I’m decommissioning most of them with taffic redirecting back to main sites.
Not worth my time to keep up with.
Just 2 for now, but I have and idea to start a couple niche blogs at some point.
I used to own three but one was doing better than all of them () so i decided to dedicate all of my time to that one, and it’s paid off.
Brian Dusablon
More than 5. Few are very active. Ideas for 3-5 more. Where does all the time go?
Jacques//An1ken
Well I recently started up my Blog Creativeoverflow.net – A Design Blog for Anything creative.
Its been going really well and I am determined to make it work full time.
I only have 1 blog at the moment but, I am sure it will multiple as time goes along.
justbloglah
I am running only 1 blog.
Blake @ Props Blog Reviews
I’m only running 1 blog right now, but my wife and I have been discussing starting one for her about high fashion.
@Daniel –
I would love to see the followup posts about the poll results and what you think the result mean or how the results do or don’t effect us.
I have voted for more than 5 blogs, my recent blog is FamousBloggers.net and a corporation blog and Social Network for Making Money Online Tips built on the contributions of its authors.
Harsh Agrawal
I have 4 blogs and all 4 of them are active and 3 more are lined up..
How about 20?
I wrote an article on a similar topic a few weeks back. I suggest most new bloggers start with one before starting other blogs. Even a single blog can consume a blogger full time while learning all the basics. Juggling multiple blogs is a recipe for disaster in the early stages.
John Samuel
I own 5 blogs on a single domain, but I am concentrating on only one of my blogs
Just one up to know but I’m working on other 3
I maintain 3 blogs.
It’s a lot of work to maintain any more.
I run 2 blogs, 1 full-time, the other with periodic updates.
I have others that are in various stages of development, but only 2 that are worth declaring as blogs at the moment.
I have a full-time job as well, so 1 is like a second part-time job, and the other is a hobby that I work on whenever possible.
I actually need more time to dedicate to my blogs, but what can you do.
Chipper Dave
I currently manage 2 active blogs but also have 4 others that are inactive and I no longer update.
It’s all I can do to update the 2 of them.
I keep the other 4 around for historical sake and in the chance I might go back to them someday.
John B. Moss
I’ve just started my blog, so haven’t had enough experience to go for more – yet. I’m still at the stage where a ‘Blogging Buddy’ would be VERY helpful.
I am using b2evolution, and I’m finding out there are other blog platforms, some of them quite popular. However, I have what I have and am making every attempt to use it well.
Thank you for providing such a helpful place to learn. We can always learn, and your help is appreciated!
Wow. I was a little surprised to see that so far most people own more than five. I only own four myself, but have put up far more than five for clients. In fact the last three website I have build included blogs.
I have one active one and 2 dormant ones that could become active as soon as next month. Lets see how it goes
1 to be 2 eventually.
I’m running 5 blogs but I just write 1, the others are autoblog.
hi, i am currently running 3, all of them are manual blog, but only one of them gave me a revenue because of its English language….
man, i thought English-languaged blog is the best
Currently posting on 4 blogs but plan to go down to 1 that will include the content of the other 3.
Anand Srinivasan
4+ are all static now as I no longer update..I write regularly only on two of them..
nethall.gr
I’ve got 3 blogs, the one is fully automated and the other two are hand written. The automated gets more traffic than the others
Lee Ka Hoong
I own more than 5 blogs, but recently I just update my main blog. Seems that most of the people have more than 5 blogs.
I own 20 blogs with different niche, most are active but not updated. It is difficult to update and manage a lot of blogs but honestly I really like blogging
Paula from Affiliate Blog Online
It’s interesting that (as of today) the poll shows that most people have more than 5 blogs. I have over 20 blogs and as the previous commentor mentioned, it is difficult to maintain that many blogs.
I think it is a bit of a habit amongst internet marketers to think that the next thing they try will be the one that makes the real money…hence creating one blog after another. We did the exact same thing but realized some time into it that it doesn’t work. Concentrate on one or two blogs at the most and you will have more success. This was the turning point for us and when we finally started making big money on the internet.
MorningErection
I just started my first one and most likely my only one. I struggle with posting every other day and coming up with new ideas for my posts. I guess one day I would like a blog that made some $$.
Lia Qistina
For me, i own just ONE blog, and that is my only blog ..
I think owning one active blog is fine, because we can put a lot of focus, energy and passion into it.
Jonathan Frei — OrdinaryTime
3, but only one gets any attention.
I have 5 blogs but only 2 remain active. So hard to manage them very well..

This is yet another example of how the Tea Party will replace one set of dishonest, business as usual candidates with another set of dishonest, business as usual candidates beholden to Sarah Palin.
Don’t Betcha:
Sarah Palin’s Joe Miller Used Tax-Paid Resources for Politics, Now Trying to Hide Records From Public
When a candidate, who runs on the idea of “open and honest government” and an end to business as usual, then goes to court to keep the public from seeing public records about his unethical, dishonest behavior, you have to wonder.
And , Sarah Palin’s hand-picked GOP candidate for U.S. Senate from Alaska.
I’m all for getting rid of establishment, dynasty Republicans like Lisa Murkowski–whom Miller deposed in the Alaska Republican primary, and against whom he is now running as she mounts her write-in campaign.
But Joe Miller now makes clear with his latest actions that he’s as dishonest and unethical as every creature of the inside-the-Beltway types he claims he’s running against.
In fact, what Joe Miller is trying to hide is that, while on the public payroll as a government attorney for an Alaska borough, he used government resources for political activity.
And even though Judge Winston Burbank ruled, Saturday, that the public is entitled to see these public records, Miller’s lawyer says he is considering appealing.
Hey, just like Obama and the liberals:
A judge ruled Saturday that the Fairbanks North Star Borough must release personnel records of U.S. Senate candidate Joe Miller. . . .
The case was brought by a group of Alaska news media organizations, which have been trying since summer to see borough documents concerning Miller’s employment as a part-time borough attorney.
Miller, the Republican nominee for Senate in a tight three-way race, fought the lawsuit, arguing that any release of personnel records violated his privacy rights. . . .
A former borough mayor, Jim Whitaker, has said Miller was disciplined for violating the borough’s ethics policy in his use of borough computers for political purposes.
Miller acknowledged that in an interview on CNN earlier this week . . . .
Whitaker served as borough mayor during most of that period and told reporters on Oct. 13 that Miller had used borough computers for political purposes in 2008 when he organized a failed effort to oust state Republican Party Chairman Randy Ruedrich.
Whitaker said Miller was disciplined for the violation of the borough’s ethics code.
Yup, this is open, honest government advocate Sarah Palin’s man for the U.S. Senate.
Sorry, but if this is the kind of “conservative” the Tea Party is putting up, you’ll never clean house in Washington.
If Joe Miller illegally used taxpayer resources for his own personal political activities in Alaska, he’ll do it in Washington, too.
A crook is a crook, no matter on which side of the aisle he or she resides.
And, clearly, Joe Miller is crooked.
That’s why he and his lawyer are trying to keep the world from knowing about it.

That’s the kind of guy conservatives endorse with the excuse, “the Democrats are worse.”
Yet its the reason I don’t expect much to change in Washington next year even if the GOP manages to take over Congress from the Democrats.
NormanF on October 25, 2010 at 1:08 pm
There will be no change after this election.
Because more people are collecting gov mint goodies than people working to pay for those goodies, the trends will be the same.
Voters vote for those giving away freebees.
WE are on the fast track to irreversible socialism which always ends in dictatorship.
As goes on October 26, 2010 at 12:40 pm
NormanF–
You’re right.
As it is, there is an easy way to fix this mess–but it will probably never happen.
The main problem is the notion of politics as a career.
This simply has to be destroyed, as there is no possibility of a solution with this in place.
All career politicians are scumbags–there are no exceptions whatsoever, and there never will be.
At the moment, the fact that someone wants to run for office should automatically disqualify him.
Impose absolute term limits, with the only road to future office being a step up–and even then, limit this so that members can only be in for two terms, and senators for one term.
Disallow all campaigning outside of uniform broadcast/print spots that are paid for by the government–and which must meet strict standards–independently verified.
As to presidential primaries, limit this to a single national primary.
There is no earthly reason for the endless campaign season.
Any fool can see that the system is broken.
Please note that “heroes” claimed by either side are deeply flawed.
Examples…
FDR is still claimed as a hero by all Democrats despite the reality of his record.
One of the very few good things he ever did was drive the repeal of Prohibition.
Reagan is viewed as a hero by the our side, and he too got a good start by breaking a govt union and lowering taxes.
But then, he raised taxes and created giant deficits–not to mention letting Bork swing in the wind.
God knows why so-called conservatives lionize the likes of Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt…
As I have often said, there are no more than ten good presidents in our entire history–and Coolidge was the latest.
Note that I am defining “good” as being more than just better than the other crook.
Red Ryder on October 25, 2010 at 1:33 pm
I’m not saying that Joe Miller is correct, but the ruling that the public’s right to know about candidates outweighs Miller’s right to privacy was by retired Superior Court Judge Winston Burbank, who was appointed by Senator Lisa Murkowski’s father.
There might have been a conflict of interest on Judge Burbank’s part.
Izzy on October 25, 2010 at 4:56 pm
NormanF, your right dude, if the Republicans take over the house and senate next month, don’t expect too much change, it’ll more likely be like how it was for eight straight years under Bush, now me saying that, does that mean I want Obama and his fellow-travelling Democrat minions to continue to move this country towards the far left?
Answer, hell NO!
And I think the reason why some of us conservatives are being fooled and duped by some of these candidates on the GOP side is that many of the so-called conservative sites are NOT reporting the exact truth of some of these candidates and that goes for some of the tea party candidates who are running as republicans.
And I bet that if I or any of us on this site report this story to any of the other right-wing sites, the posters on those sites are going to call us every word under the sun, and call us conspiracy-theorist, liberals, communist, socialist, traitors, etc., and that’s why I no longer post on the other conservative websites, because all they do is carry the water for the GOP!

They’re virtually all a bunch of crooks just sinking their snouts into the public trough.
How many of these politicians rejected stimulus money?
In spite of all their talk, none that I know completely rejected it.
These ‘right”wing’ governors didn’t reject it, or else, their rejection was symbolic, and temporary (or they know their rejection would be overturned by local legislative bodies, so it was just for show).
There have been reliable reports in recent days that some of the leading tea party reps in Congress such as Michelle Bachmann made request for stimulus handouts.
Woe to the taxpayers.

Joe Miller is creepy he had a reporter arrested by his private security guards.
I don’t care what side is doing it, freedom of press is in the constitution, the same constitution Miller talks end lessly about.
He probably knows as much about the constitution as Christine O’donell.
It would be easy to make a case that I am a liberal but I’ve never voted for a democrat in my life and that includes this election, I’m an absentee balloter.
I’ve just become completly disillusioned with the rights hypocrisy and their defense of the big banks and bp.
tyler on October 25, 2010 at 6:37 pm
I’m also mad at the right for not saying a word about shipping our jobs over seas.
I see ad after ad on television and nothing gets mentioned about anything I care about all they do is talk about the debt level and attack the opponent.
I heard a republican running for office say Americans are too good to make their own products, we should focus on technology and something else but I forgot.
That pathetic.
America is truly turning into a third world country and we have the highest richest to poor ratio of the civilized world.
Tell a person earning a couple grand a year their to good to manufacture something or that illegals only do jobs they won’t do.
tyler on October 25, 2010 at 6:51 pm
I don’t know about Miller, but I can assure you that no one can grow to be an adult in the US without breaking some law. If you look at employment law, you will find that the only reason that you get fired is because you crossed management. The reason given for the firing is not the real entity. In my situation, I was fired from a medical school for Medicare fraud. That sounds horrible but what occured was the loss of 50 patient records by the hospital staff, an daily occurance, and something I had no control of. The amount in dispute was $1000. Yet the real reason for being fired was that I would not falsify clinical trial records for the hospital. Needless to say this is in court, but the laws don’t work so it is anyone’s guess as to where it will go.
David on October 25, 2010 at 7:49 pm
Tyler, you got a point bro, I live in New York, I’m a little pissed at Carl Paladino for NOT putting out tv ads against his opponent Andrew Cuomo, and not bringing up illegal-immigration in NY (mainly in the 5 boroughs where I live and in Nassau & Suffolk county), I would take Paladino over Cuomo, because Cuomo is like Obama, who supports higher taxes on those who work for a living and pay taxes, support a welfare state in NY, apart of the subprime mortgage scandal in the late 1990s, etc.
I understand where your coming from Tyler, and so far none of the GOP candidates and the tea party candidates haven’t mentioned the main problem with this country, “IMMIGRATION”, I understand the economy is the situation, but illegal-immigration ties into our slumping and inept economy.

He used 4 computers in his office to vote in an online POLL for Christs sake.
The boss smacked his hand for using public computer time to take a poll.
Woot…woot….big scary story.
If that’s all it is, then why did he go to court to stop the release of documents about it?
Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.

Off topic a little, but it really bugs the hell out of me how Palin calls the president Mr. Obama on the stump. It just grates me inside for some reason. I cannot stand the Obama brand, but the president is the president. I believe they should be addressed as such..
I did not think the Miller thing was a big deal in the beginning. I had read he fought to have the information from being released.. I just hate that stuff, reeks of corruption.
sharon on October 26, 2010 at 12:05 am
So now Miller is a creep.
What about Murkowski and the other red who is running?
At some point you forget the whole thing, or else pick a side and strive for improvement in government.
Dropping out is not a good option!
I did mention Murkowski.
RIF–Reading Is Fundamental. Try it sometime.
Your uninformed premature articulation is absurd and moronic.
I forgot nothing.
But nice try ignoring that the guy you want to elect is in court with lawyers trying to keep you from seeing public documents about his only previous performance on the government payroll.
When Lisa Murkowski is in court doing that, I’ll write about it.
But she isn’t.
WAKE. UP. If you will prefer and excuse such unethical behavior by politicians just because they are “your guys,” you are useless and a hypocrite. DS

David–
Sorry about what happened to you re the clinical trials, etc.
If the public had any idea how bad the quality control is on these trials, they would probably be afraid to take any new drug.
(And maybe they should be.)
I know an IM doc who did hard federal time for simply working at a clinic in which the owner did not have the proper licensing.
Only in the US could we spend so much on health care, and yet have it be so screwed up.
For those of you who think our system is the “best,” keep drinking the Kool-Aid.
Red Ryder on October 26, 2010 at 9:03 am
I think the big issue here is not that Miller might be hiding something by not revealing personal records but why is the law jumping on Miller for this and not Obama who has hidden every scrap of his records including his proper birth certificate. Miller might have misused government computers but what crimes are hidden in Obama’s records?
What does that have to do with the price of tea in China?
This is a race in Alaska, NOT Hawaii.
One has nothing to do with the other.
The big issue is, in fact, Miller hiding something.
But nice try with your two wrongs make a right BS.
Jerry on October 26, 2010 at 9:12 am
In anticipation of the reply postings on our health care system not being the best…
1. The cartel “Match” system artificially limits access to a resident’s desired specialty.
2. Residents–despite being the cornerstone of the hospital system–make no money (around $40K), and work about 100 hours per week.
Often more, but they must lie about it on time sheets.
You want a sleep-deprived resident working on you?
3. Emphasis on specialization has–oddly enough–destroyed many specialties, as para-professionals are brought in (because they are cheaper).
This is especially prevalent in anesthesiology.
You really want a nurse giving you that dose which you may never wake up from?
4. Emphasis on pharmaceutical drugs has turned internal medicine (IM) into little more than a silly numbers game, whereby your blood is checked for various parameters, and if you are out of range, are prescribed a drug.
Nearly every adult over 50 will thus have some “need” for a drug, not to mention many people younger than this.
Note that there is absolutely no evidence that this sort of numbers management (with drugs only) has any beneficial outcome.
This has become a national scandal with respect to statins, hypotensives, and hypoglycemics.
Ever wonder why the numbers for diabetes, cholesterol, and high blood pressure keep being lowered?
Maybe it’s so there will be more people who “need” these drugs.
Boomerang effect exists whereby obese diabetics, for example, will be on a drug like Avandia, and then there is the finding that it increases heart disease.
This is pure BS.
What is really happening is that the fatties don’t change their lifestyle, thinking that the drug has cured them.
Thus, they get the heart disease they have so earnestly been working on.
5. Emphasis on expensive diagnostics has become a sick joke.
If you sprain your ankle, you might get an MRI.
Because they can bill it, that’s why.
6. Social engineering by med schools has produced far too many incompetent doctors.
This is exacerbated by the incredible loopholes that allow bad docs to keep practicing.
Tip of the iceberg, folks.

I agree with Mr. Bill. I think you are jumping to conclusions. Maybe there is something there, but I’d like to see some evidence before we hang the guy.
Uh, you WON’T see the evidence b/c Sarah Palin’s Joe Miller is fighting in court with lawyers to keep the public from seeing it.
That’s kinda the point, which a tea party/Palin blind follower like yourself doesn’t bother to get.
Giant hint:
Does a person hire lawyers and go to court to keep the public from seeing public records about merely voting on a computer?
If you believe that, I have some land in Wasilla to sell you.
The only one jumping to conclusions here is you.
I would like to see the evidence, but Joe Miller and his lawyers are in court trying to stop that.
To say this is the kind of person he is, isn’t “jumping to conclusions.”
It’s fact.
Facts are stubborn things.
Deal with ‘em or go home.

I’m very disappointed with Joe Miller because some of his siblings are my friends and I was happy when he won the GOP nomination over Lisa Murkowski.
And now, the skeletons are falling out of his cupboard, he’s hiding something just like the big-O. He’s no different from the others!! I should have realized he’s just another politician when he was hand picked by Sarah Palin.

Joe’s not an Arab Muslim is he? ‘Cause judging from that pic’ he’s sure trying to look like one. All he needs is the do-rag.
… maybe just wants to fit in?
Question: why do the folks in the Tea Party need Sarah Palin to tell them who to vote for? I thought the Tea Party was about individual resposibility. That would mean doing your own homework people, not letting someone else decide for you.
…….and NOT Sarah Palin, for sure.

Hello would you mind stating which blog platform you’re using? I’m planning to start my own blog soon but I’m having a hard time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your layout seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique.
P.S Sorry for getting off-topic but I had to ask!

I’ve been surfing online more than 2 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if all site owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the web will be much more useful than ever before.
