【阿尔伯塔大学】【机械工程】【心理学】急切麻烦给指点专业还有Bridging Program！
阿尔伯塔大学强势专业是工程科，但是我实在是对自己的理科不太有信心。但是由于时间紧，也想赶着09-fall入学，就想拿着自己的雅思6分，先去UA读Faculty of Arts 的Bridging Program，说是最快四个月毕业，进入Faculty of Arts 读书，之后可以在Next avaiable admission 的时候转入其他院系，也就是说2010年一月份可以转入全日制学术知识的学习，到时候有机会再申请工科。
其实，我还是有信心在接下来时间里把雅思搞到7分左右，但是，那就要等到10年fall了。。。
而且，下一年的话拿着7分成绩貌似还能申请到更好点的学校。。但是在阿尔伯塔省我有一个同学，生活上会方便些。。
Bridging Program 是语言班么？
我本人是不推荐读语言班的，会浪费比较多的钱，不单单是学费，还有生活费。
UA是不错的学校，但双录取骗局也不是没有，这点必须谨慎。
另外，我觉得不必要急着出国，等2010年，一切准备充分了，也不晚
尽快考过雅思，然后剩下的时间把英语提高一下。雅思分数不代表英语水平的。
心理学不太了解，我知道UA 的石油工程，化学工程是最好的。EE 也不错的。
UA的EBP么，淘汰率有点高。6分应该是3~4个月就进正课了。
有一个对我很好的教授对我说没必要呆在我们那个学院浪费一年时间，不如早出去适应环境，而且是很语重心长的说。。
您说英语要再提高一下，我想在国外的环境下会不会更好点？因为我弱项在口语。。。。
但是，毕竟UA的Faculty of Arts 不是其强势学院，我在考虑出来之后出路会不会受阻。。。
麻烦各位了！！真的很急切。。。
反倒觉得Arts还不错。UA的Business我觉得前途不大。
我很想再明确的定位一下目标，但是就目前情况而言，我得先做出决定：到底读不读这该死的Bridging Program。
这样，我把这个项目的介绍给贴出，大家帮忙分析，看有没有什么猫腻。。
If you do not have the English profiency for degree program, but you do have the required level for Bridging Program (ESL + academics), we can consider you. For Bridging Program you will need a minimum 5.5 on IELTS or 71 on TOEFL. In the Bridging Program you will study ESL and once you have completed the two ESL courses, you will go directly into fulltime academic degree studies in Arts. Students wanting programs other than Arts can then transfer to another Faculty in the next available admission term. We now offer ESL in a condensed format, which means that our ESL classes are offered twice per term. Successful students can finish the ESL component of the Bridging Program between September and December, transitioning into fulltime degree studies in January. Students who require more time in ESL have up to one year to complete the successfully complete the classes.
EBP大家都了解。没什么问题，就是你去了必须好好读。如果对自己没信心就别去了。是有一定淘汰率的。

我只是说这个EBP没有问题。但是你要注意Arts Faculty转到其它Department不是随便转的，你要GPA高一点才行。
GPA大概要到什么程度？3.0左右？
