日大学英语六级考作文范文：学习无捷径
　　Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write an essay based on the picture below. You should start your essay with a brief description of the picture and then discuss whether there is a shortcut to learning. You should give sound arguments to support your views and write at least 150 words but no more than 200 words.
　　The comic is an ironical illustration that it is unadvisable to search for a shortcut to learning. The student tries to find a book about how to do well in school without studying in the library, only to be told that it is unrealistic and impractical.
　　The discussion of whether there is a shortcut to learning is essentially the requesting for a supreme learning method C a panacea every learner wishes for. In my opinion, the shortcut to learning does exist. It is the combination of diligence and intelligence. As Thomas Edison says, “Genius is one per cent inspiration, ninety-nine per cent perspiration.”
　　On one hand, hard work is the premise and prerequisite for achieving academic success. Even the most resourceful ones have to devote their time studying and reading, because knowledge does not go automatically into the brain. All efforts will be futile if we idle away our time.
　　On the other hand, it is undeniable that there are ways to improve learning efficiency, especially with the support of technology like the Internet. Better learners are always the ones with cleverer learning skills.
　　To sum up, only when we diligently and skillfully can we achieve academic success.

2014年6月英语六级写作评析

　　2014年6月的六级考试已经拉下帷幕，这次考试的三套作文题目都中规中矩。与2013年的六套题所不同的是，2014年6月的这三套题的题干相对比较容易，主要在于几乎没有生僻的单词。但是，越是简单的题干，往往越是需要考生的细心审题，否则可能会因为对题目的理解错误而跑题。
　　考前一周，本人预测出七篇文章，其中包括不要以貌取人，以及要学会从经验和现实中获取知识。 并且，在最后的冲刺班，我再次强调了"不要以貌取人"这句话的不同表达方式，比如"Never judge a book by its cover." 在预测的题目当中，本人提到这套题可以与时下流行的整容问题相结合。由于事先对预测题目的充分准备，使得很多考生尤其是对"不要以貌取人"这篇题目写起来得心应手。
　　这三套题只要按照题目要求，正确理解，适当举例，且能够自圆其说即可。结合本人在六级课程中所讲授的文章类型和例句，提供三篇参考范文，范文语句全部来自课程讲义。以供广大考生参考。

　　For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write an essay explaining why it is unwise to judge a person by appearance. You can give examples to illustrate your point. You should write at least 150 words but no more than 200 words.

　　这篇文章是三套题中相对容易的一个写作题目，题目当中没有生僻的单词，全部都是六级考生应该掌握的词汇。此外，这个题目属于广大考生耳熟能详的话题，相信很多同学都有背诵过这句谚语警句。鉴于题干当中已经强调了unwise,出题人有了自己的价值判断，考生可将这篇文章与课堂上所强调的"现象类"文章结构相结合，写出一篇现象类的三大段文章。
　　开头段引出这句话，并且可以适当地提出关于"以貌取人"的例子。中间段分析为什么以貌取人是不明智的，也可以分析这样做的原因与后果。结尾段可以提出个人观点，谈一谈怎样才能避免以貌取人，甚至可以批判一下以貌取人的弊处。

　　People often say "never judge a book by its cover". Ironically, it's easier said than done. Contemporarily, one can find numerous examples everywhere with ease, like recruitment by gender, race or appearance, rather than the ability of candidate.
　　Why it is unwise to judge a person by appearance? It's a thought-provoking question. To begin with, judging a person only by appearance will make some of us to put the "good looking" at top in our daily life. In that case, an increasing number of people would pursue the pretty appearance, like plastic surgery. However, it is nothing but a waste of money, let alone the misleading value. Moreover, it is unwise to jump into a conclusion upon seeing. It will take us longer to know the personality of a person rather than taking a glance at her or his face. Plus, there are several ways to know a person better, such as communication, interaction and its like.
　　In conclusion, the problem related to judging person by appearance is bound to generate severe problem if we keep turning a blind on it, such as wrong value for our judgments of beauty. &Only by long-term observation and proper judging criteria can we find and appreciate the natural and inner beauty of other people.

　　这篇文章尽管题干非常简单，几乎是中学词汇，但是，只有对题干的反复认真理解，才能写出一篇不离题的作文。题干的字面意思是把所有鸡蛋放在一个篮子里，这是非常不明智的。其实，这也就是我们常说的"孤注一掷"，会带来很大的风险（risks)，换言之，也就是要求我们在日常生活中要学会分散投资，要有备案。

　　"It is unwise to put all the eggs in one basket." &It is an old cliché, but I totally agree with it. &This proverb indicates that it is a good way to divide all your investment among many places, which is so-called diversification. It is never wrong to have some backup plans.
