要学好一门语言，最好的方法就是完全浸入式学习，说白了就是去说这个语言的国家生活一段时间。这样你接触到的每个人都是你的老师，你看到的所有东西都是教材。最近我去了一趟北京，发现果真如此。我们抵达北京已经是周末，所有的宾馆都已经客满，我们没有办法，只有去了一家低档的商务旅馆。房间简陋，地毯上满是香烟味，破旧的木边桌也是便宜货，门口还留了一堆小卡片，没错，你猜对了，招小姐的小卡片。(以下简称小卡片)
这些小卡片和名片差不多大，亮闪闪的卡片上印着彩色的辣妞。(有些看上去是从鞋子广告上借用的模特)，看着这些小卡片我着实笑了好几分钟。虽然我的汉语不咋地，我还是能认出：美女学生、电影明星、漂亮姑娘这几个词。还有几个词我不认识，比如“高贵”和“典雅”，我查了字典才知道是什么意思。
但是其中一个词把我震惊了，几乎每张小卡片上都写着“白领”两个字，我很好奇。《艺妓回忆录》里日本男人对性感的白领女趋之若鹜，然而这可是在中国，这种翻译肯定不是“白领”员工的意思。
我们在中国停留了3晚，每晚能收到8-10张小卡片，我把它们全部收集起来带回家。我和我的丈夫在头一晚还很好奇，我们想知道发这些小卡片的“仙女”们都是什么人，我猜肯定是个肥的不行，烟不离口的胖女人。有一天我们回来比较早，才发现原来是一帮抽烟的小男孩，他们一边抽烟，一边闲聊，一边娴熟地将卡片塞进门底下。
回国后，我把收集到的小卡片给我的中国朋友看，我才知道白领真的是白领的意思。我的中国朋友告诉我，这不是性奴型白领，只是白天在大公司上班，晚上出去找乐子的白领。然而，我的这位中国朋友对这种说法表示怀疑。
