在今天早些时候结束的《皇家大战 2016》HHH(Triple H)作为第30个选手出场，并最终获胜加冕WWE世界重量级冠军。在比赛中他淘汰了前任WWE世界重量级冠军罗曼·雷恩斯(Roman Reigns)。
HHH获得了他个人第14次世界冠军。WWE解说员迈克尔·科尔(Michael Cole)确认，HHH将会在《摔角狂热 32》的主战赛上防卫冠军。
