Vinidex pipe and fittings systems continue to prove themselves in some of Australia’s toughest operating conditions in mines right across the country.
Polyethylene pipes have high impact strength and flexibility together with the abrasion resistance required in slurry lines. Polyethylene pipe is also ideal for pit dewatering and the countless water and chemical applications within mine operations. Vinidex PE pipes can me manufactured with a white coextruded external layer, reducing the heat build-up and consequent temperature rise in exposed outdoor installations.
Vinidex offers a full range of jointing systems, including butt welding, electrofusion, mechanical couplings and compression fittings.
Borecasing is a specialised PVC pressure pipe offered to the mining industry. Borecasing PVC pipe is used to form a lining or casing for a water bore drilled vertically into the ground.
