Question: Summarize the points made in the lecture you just heard, explaining how they cast doubt points made in the reading.
The writer is mainly discussing that the three explanations is not convincing, Contradicting what are stated in the reading passage that insect parasite, brown bear and the climate change are the reasons that causes the tree\'s decline.
First of all, the reading passage believes that the cedar bark beetle, one of insect parasite, causes the trees\' decline.In contrast, the writer thinks that a healthy tree has resisitance to insect parasites and it can not suffer from chemical damage. So that it can not be a fundamental cause.
Secondly, the speaker discusses about the trees live in the mainland and island but a research found that the trees also decline on the island which without any bears on it. Contradicting what is stated in the reading that bears will eat the tree bark for a high sugar content so that bears are responsible for the decilne.
Thirdly,the speaker raises an issue that the cold weather in the higher elevation is not the factor can cause the decline of the trees. This point against that the gradual changes of climate is the reason why the amount of trees deline demonstrated in the reading passage.
So the contents in the reading passage is disproved by the speaker\'theory and the speaker has totally divergent ideas with the topics made in the reading passage.

As far as I am concerned, I prefer to work slowly and make sure that everything is correct for two reasons, the efficiency and safety.
First of all, the efficiency is the most essential and significant things when we were working. But is you work so quickly and make many mistakes in your work, you will lose your efficienty in your work.&&which you want to work so quick to persue. I will cite an example, I was a collegue student and my major is electronics engineering so that I always write computer programs and codes. Once my teacher called me to attend a project and I responsible for the program writing in the whole project. The task is required me three days to accomplish so that I need to write programs by computer language as fast as I can. I work hard without any rest to persue the speed of compiling my programs in that three days. Finally, it is the time to submit the program I had done but my tutors found that there was many logic errors in my programs due to I want to persue the speed of my compliling. Certainly I only to rewrite a new program instead of it in extra three days, I lost my efficiency in my work becasue I had already written the program for six days and also my tutor criticize me because it.
Secondly, the safety is always another reason. In many safety administrations of many countries. There were many sophisticated systems of armors such as the missiles, rocky and ellites. To think about it, if the writer of the program of these administrations has a little error in the program of the armor. The missile will probably boom and kill many peoples. So that the correction in that cases is always more important than the speed of the work.
To sum up, I believe that the correction of the work is always important than the speed of the work.

对于大牛来说,托福阅读一定是要在满分上下游荡的,尤其对于中国大牛来说,拿28分就是耻辱,29分刚及格,30分才可以算是满意.要想接近这条线,而且在只有1、2周时间的情况下,大牛的选择不是很多,梳理一下,最关键的就是如下几点：1 熟悉托福考试的题型：其实要熟悉托福考试的题型,托福报名时给的一套模拟题并不是最好的选择,因为这套模拟题真的是自2006年新托福考试出现以来,就一直没有换过,每个人的模拟题都是一样的,而且难度相比于现在的托福考试也比较低,因此要想通过做真题来了解托福考试,那么TPO21-TPO26是最好的选择,这6套题是最接近现在新托福考试的难度和思路的,做这些题,绝对没错.当然,你会很想知道新托福考试的技巧是什么,但是可以告诉你,托福考试所谓的技巧,其实只存在于老托福考试的语法部分,和2000年之前的听力部分,自从进入新托福考试以来,就没有什么真正意义上的技巧了,最大的技巧就是读懂.反之,题目做错了,就是没读懂,就这么简单,哪怕认为你自己读懂了,也是幻觉.因此,熟悉托福考试最好的方式,就是做TPO21-TPO26.2 熟悉托福考试选项设置的思路,尤其是正确选项,和错误选项的出题思路：对于新托福考试来说,在选项的设置上还是很见功力的!尤其是很多时候,一看选项,你经常会发现2个选项貌似都对,这个时候你要的不应该是解决方法.反之,你应该做的是继续做题,通过多做题,来积累错题,然后横向的来分析托福考试的出题思路,因此可以考虑连续3天,连做TPO16-TPO22这6套TPO,通过这面的错题来分析里面的选项设置思路,是非常有必要的.然后将TPO23-TPO26就留下最后4天,每天1套做模考.3 镇魂单词题：其实镇魂单词题/archives/5105,就是将来可能考到的单词题的一个合集,因为里面直接涉及了对于单词的细微的理解,而且很有可能将来的托福考试还会重新考到,因此每天把这份材料看个三分之一,然后考前1周一共看2遍还是很有必要的,因为这可以帮助我们减少单词题的思考时间,相应的直接增加其它题目的做题时间,还是很有好处的.4 1分扣在哪里：其实对于高手来说,要做好心理准备,如果非要舍弃一道题的话,到底要在什么部位舍弃,其实,其实不外乎3种题,1 单词题 2 summary 3 细节题.对于其他的题型,要保证绝对的正确率!然后这3种题型里,哪一个题不确定,就快速的通过排除法筛选掉2个,然后在剩下的2个里面猜一个,不要恋战.因为只要其他的题目全对了,我们还是可以得到很高的分数的,切不可因为留恋这道题而减少其他题的做题时间,继而导致崩盘.5 如何对待经典加试：经典加试/archives/5044既可能是阅读加试,也可能是听力加试,当然大多数情况下是听力加试.如果碰见加试的话,虽然官方的口径是不算分,但是之前曾经出现过因为没好好做加试题,而被倒扣分的现象,因此最好的策略就是考前看好经典加试,然后在考试的时候,快速的通过,当然要注意ETS是否换过题目!
