Installing GCC
The latest version of this document is always available at
It refers to the current development sources, instructions for
specific released versions are included with the sources.
This document describes the generic installation procedure for GCC as well
as detailing some target specific installation instructions.
GCC includes several components that previously were separate distributions
with their own installation instructions.
This document supersedes all
package-specific installation instructions.
Before starting the build/install procedure please check the

These lists are updated as new information becomes available.
The installation procedure itself is broken into five steps.

Please note that GCC does not support &make uninstall& and probably
won&t do so in the near future as this would open a can of worms.
we suggest that you install GCC into a directory of its own and simply
remove that directory when you do not need that specific version of GCC
any longer, and, if shared libraries are installed there as well, no
more binaries exist that use them.
There are also some ,
which are mostly obsolete but still contain some information which has
not yet been merged into the main part of this manual.

It combines information for the public, with administrative tools for officials and solutions for

There is not even a single Vajra AC bus for 1.5hrs between 7PM to 8:30 PM from iblur bus stop towards Sarjapur Rd. Request to increase the frequency of the bus during this timing.

We need more buses from Anjanapura to Majestic. The bus frequency in this route is very less. The residents are suffering because of this. From Jambusavari Dinne to Majestic quite good number of buses are there. In the same way we request you to increase the bus frequency of 215N. It will improve connectivity of Anjanapura to Majestic.

Many from Malleswaram travel to yelahanka.But to do so we have to go to majestic which is farther and then catch 285 series.The travel time become 2 hours which would otherwise have been half an hour.We kindly request for a mini bus that plies between the above stops so that we are not inconvenienced to travel for such a long distance. &br /& &b&Timing(s) :&/b&

Hi Sir,
&br/&I request you to introduce buses for long distance by passing Majestic station. Getting into Majestic and coming out will take minimum of 20 minutes. If you avoid the Majestic station the passengers can save more time. it also increases the number of users. I have suggested this for locality, you can consider it for other locations as well.

most of the travellers from Varthur to Balagere stretch to commute towards HAL, Mejestic has to travel via Varthur--& Kundanahali gate which is 7km additional.

I see there is no direct AC buses from kadubeesanahalli to Varthur Hobli route. I would like to request to introduce AC buses for the route in Morning & Evening.

Introduce bus lanes on roads with more than 2 lanes and which many buses use such as Corporation-Mayohall. This will help cut down journey trip and the traffic police needs to actively penalise violators with hefty fine (with the help of cctv).
&br/&
&br/&Also, provide feeder buses from remote/not well connected areas to main trunk roads (example: borewell to yemlur/kempapura). This can run every 20-30 minutes with minibuses. And increase frequency of buses that run on main trunk roads. Discard routes that are infrequent and that are long, snaking, direct routes from remote corners to city centre since people cannot predict when the bus will come.

Please increase the frequency between SV metro and Vydehi. Many people work in Whitefield and the number of buses is is not enough. The buses and get really crowded and there is no space to stand also.

We are staying in jp nagar 8th phase, 2nd block,vaddarapalya,there is no bus facility,have to go to jambu savari dinne bus stand which is 1.5 KMS from here. Hence request to new route or extension of buses from Jambu savari dinne via royal lake, vaddarapalya cross till vaddarapalya bus stop.there are 4 apartment with nearly 1200 flats and many private and BDA layouts with no bus facility. Instead of new buses please direct the buses which comes and halts in jambu savari dinne to reach till vaddarapalya/ aryahamsa apartment ( example 215 CA is reaching till nandi garden via royal lake bus stop). We want buses to jayanagar and KBS via yelechanahalli metro station especially during morning 8-10am and 5-9 pm.please oblige.we are facing very difficult to commute. Please communicate.
