1. Take accountability for your mistakes. If you find yourself
blaming others, look for your part and take ownership.
2. Sometimes life puts you through circumstances that show you
who's really there for you. Focus on the ones who are there and who
love and support you, rather than the ones that aren't, or can't
3. Listening is so much more important than talking. You
already know what you know when you open your mouth. When you open
your ears that’s when true learning takes place.
4. Our energy is one of our greatest resources, so it's
important to be careful who surrounds us. It's okay to close the
door on negativity. You'll soon see how this preserves your
positive energy.
5. Travel makes you richer - even if it's not far from home.
Opening your eyes to the world and all the wonders in it will
enrich the quality of your life.
6. The older we get, the faster time goes: the only way to
slow it down is to be grateful for each moment.
7. Be patient with the world around you, give others the
benefit of the doubt, for you are the one who suffers most when
you're irritated.
8. Comparing yourself to others is the fastest way to put
limitations on your potential. Stick with competing with the person
you were yesterday.
9. It is inevitable that bad things will happen, to you or to
someone equally undeserving of pain. These moments are meant to
measure our reactions to the event, and that's where you'll see how
strength is truly defined.
10. Support your friends dreams and encourage them whenever
you can. An added benefit is that you'll be happy to be surrounded
by people who love their lives.
11. If you want things to change, start by changing
12. If you genuinely don't want to do something or go
somewhere, be honest. No one wants to spend time with you when you
wish you were somewhere else.
13. Follow your dreams. Don't be afraid of them...or what
other people think of them. Give it all you've got and you can
never fail.
14. Tell people your dreams, as often as they are willing to
listen. Goals become more tangible when we say them aloud.
15. Align yourself with like-minded people, people who
motivate and inspire you, and those that make you feel genuinely
happy when they are around. Treat them with love and respect.
16. Be a role model: let your actions and your words be
unified. Be someone you'd look up to.

As we grow, we learn many things about life. Some of these lessons are easy and some are difficult. What is the best way to learn them? Some believe that they can learn best by listening to the advice of others, while some people believe that it is better to learn through personal experience. Both methods have their advantages.
In the first case, learning by listening to others, we have the benefit of learning from others& mistakes and are thus being able to avoid them ourselves. We can take advantage of the experience and wisdom of our friends and family. This will help us to make better decisions and avoid costly errors. Furthermore, the people who know us well can advise us effectively because they understand our strengths and weak nesses. At the same time, they are sometimes able to see situations more objectively than we are.
In the second case, learning through doing, we have the advantage of gaining meaningful experience. We will no doubt better remember the lessons we learn when we enjoy the rewards or suffer the consequences ourselves. Moreover, we can often develop other skills through personal experience and can learn from our mistakes. Finally, no two people are exactly alike. Therefore, what family and friends think may be suitable for them, but not appropriate for us.
Given a choice between these two ways of learning about life, I would still choose the former, learning through the advice of others. This is because I believe I should take advantage of all the resources available, and the experiences of my family and friends are a valuable resource. For example, if I were preparing to take my first trip abroad on my own, the advice of others who have already experienced such a trip could only help me. Just as we can learn from history, we can learn from the past actions of those close to us.
In conclusion, I find advantages in both ways of learning. Although I prefer to learn by listening to the advice of others, that does not mean I will forgo learning through my own experiences. It does mean, however, that I will approach new experiences with the added benefit of my family and friends& good advice.

The goal of my life is living a simple happy and healthy life.
What I want is a simple life not a complicated one.Because what my job or career offers me are difficult issues which I must handle them properly, and sometimes they are so boring and tedious, but I have to do.So after a day's work, I want to have a break and do some things which would provide me happiness and a harmonious life. It is so simple like that, I have a supper with my families talking some funny and humourous topics, or I sit on grass with who I loved looking at the beautiful sky and counting the numbers of the stars. It is simple, but very harmonious and romantic.
I also want to spend sometime on my hobbies, such as playing table tennis, badminton, basketball and so forth.I like sports very much and I believe it will benefit me all my life. What I gained from sports are not only speed, strength and skill but also competitiveness, teamwork and so on.Sports could give me a strong and energetic body and a healthy life.
The goals of my life are just written as above, and they will be pursued by myself all my life.

My father was not a sentimental man. I don&t remember him ever &ooohhing& or &ahhing& over something I made as a child. Don& I knew that my dad loved me, but getting all 1)mushy-eyed was not his thing. I learned that he showed me love in other ways.
There was one particular time in my life when this became real to me...
I always believed that my parents had a good marriage, but just before I, the youngest of four children, turned sixteen, my belief was sorely tested. My father, who used to share in the 2)chores around the house, gradually started becoming 3)despondent. From the time he came home from his job at the factory to the time he went to bed, he hardly spoke a word to my mom or us kids. The 4)strain on my mom and dad&s relationship was very evident. However, I was not prepared for the day that Mom sat my siblings and me down and told us that Dad had decided to leave. All that I could think of was that I was going to become a product of a divorced family. It was something I never thought possible, and it grieved me greatly. I kept telling myself that it wasn&t going to happen, and I went totally 5)numb when I knew my dad was really leaving. The night before he left, I stayed up in my room for a long time. I prayed and I cried and I wrote a long letter to my dad. I told him how much I loved him and how much I would miss him. I told him that I was praying for him and wanted him to know that, no matter what, Jesus and I loved him. I told him that I would always and forever be his Krissie...his Noodles. As I folded my note, I stuck in a picture of me with a saying I had always heard: &Anyone can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a daddy.&
Early the next morning, as my dad left our house, I 6)sneaked out to the car and slipped my letter into one of his bags.
Two weeks went by with hardly a word from my father. Then, one afternoon, I came home from school to find my mom sitting at the dining room table waiting to talk to me. I could see in her eyes that she had been crying. She told me that Dad had been there and that they had talked for a long time. They decided that there were things that the both of them could and would change and that their marriage was worth saving. Mom then turned her focus to my eyes.
&Kristi, Dad told me that you wrote him a letter. Can I ask what you wrote to him?&
I found it hard to share with my mom what I had written from my heart to my dad. I 7)mumbled a few words and 8)shrugged.
Mom said, &Well, Dad said that when he read your letter, it made him cry. It meant a lot to him and I have hardly ever seen your dad cry. After he read your letter, he called to ask if he could come over to talk. Whatever you said really made a difference to your dad.&
A few days later my dad was back, this time to stay. We never talked about the letter, my dad and I. I guess I always figured that it was something that was a secret between us.
My parents went on to be married a total of thirty six years before my dad&s early death at the age of fifty three cut short their lives together. In the last sixteen years of my parent&s marriage, I and all those who knew my mom and dad, witnessed one of the truly &great& marriages. Their love grew stronger every day, and my heart swelled with pride as I saw them grow closer together.
When Mom and Dad received the news from the doctor that his heart was deteriorating rapidly, they took it hand in hand, side by side, all the way.
After Dad&s death, we had the most unpleasant task of going through his things. I have never liked this task and opted to 9)run errands so I did not have to be there while most of the things were divided and boxed up.
When I got back from my errand, my brother said, &Kristi, Mom said to give this to you. She said you would know what it meant.&
As I looked down into his outstretched hand, it was then that I knew the impact of my letter that day so long ago. In my brother&s hand was my picture that I had given my dad that day. My unsentimental dad, who never let his emotions my dad, who almost never outwardly showed his love for me, had kept the one thing that meant so much to him and me. I sat down and the tears began to flow, tears that I thought had dried up from the grief of his death but that had now found new life as I realized what I had meant to him. Mom told me that Dad kept both the picture and that letter his whole life. I have a box in my home that I call the &Dad box&. In it are so many things that remind me of my dad. I pull that picture out every once in a while and remember. I remember a promise that was made many years ago between a young man and his bride on their wedding day, and I remember the unspoken promise that was made between a father and his daughter.
  A promise kept.

Seven years ago, my wife and I had to take our five week old daughter off of life support, by far the hardest and most painful decision of our life. Our daughter, Alle Shea, was born with the rare bone disease called Osteogenesis Imperfecta. At birth Alle Shea&s skull looked like a cracked egg on the x-rays. She also had multiple fractures in her arms and her ribs, her legs, and her wrist. The day Alle was leaving us, we were able to take her outside on the hospital deck and hold her in our arms until she passed away.
Now, we had two choices that day: we could have let the grief over take us, or we could take that grief and turn it into a positive. Since that day, my wife and I have worked tirelessly volunteering our time hosting special events, and talking to students and the media about OI. We even contacted hospitals to try to get them on board with our cause - and this is the battle we are still fighting. Over the seven years, we have volunteered thousands of hours. February of 2015 we started OI Care for You program. We send stuffed animals to children with OI in the hospital for treatment, surgery or home recovering from a break.
2015年二月,我们启动了OI Care for You这个项目。
Each one brings a smile and comfort to a child with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI).
We had OI families come from neighboring cities and towns and thank us for doing what we do and giving them another way to show support for a family member with OI.
