china will cross 50 gold…
nobody in china gets money or land or home or govt job for gold…they have to play & get money from board only like annual contract…but bronze indians will appear 50 adds like health drinks & indians will buy it…

bindra is ok…(even zhu qinan bowed out).. however dunno why hopes were up on shiva thapa..who’s just 18 and inexperienced..he was touted by the media to win something…also team archery was touted to win…anyhow..i hope our tally crosses ;s tally..

We have Vedic tradition. We had even monkeys who could jump from India to Lanka. So we are not bothered bout lack of medals.
In simple words, we Indians are mules with 2500 year old laundry of tradition on our back and nothing to look forward to

It was a hearbreak for ukraine as from being bronze, they were later relegated to 4th position after japan (who were 4th) appealed , and their appeal was upheld and they were put in the 2nd position…
there were boos all around the arena as britain had to come down to bronze too.

Asian domination in Olympics

As of today its China dominating every sphere, not just sports.
When it comes to Olympics they have stamped their authority on the games for more than a decade.
I hope in the years to come Asian countries totally dominate olympics and leave nothing for the western world. For that India has to take giant leaps and upgrade its infrastructure for sports in a feverish pace and develop a culture where the younger generation look up to sports as a serious career option rather than just a leisure time activity.
迄今为止，中国不仅统治体育，而且统治每个领域。
就奥运会而言，中国已经统治了十年有余。

In beijing 2008,China topped the gold medals tally(51) against usa(36), then the western and indian media commented that it is because of home advantage.Just prior to the start of london 2012, the same set of media predicted that since the chinese are on foreign soil,their gold medal tally will diminish by at least 40-50%, thereby projecting a figure of around 27-28 golds and the usa tally to go up to 43- 45 golds. Moreover china would slip to third place behind usa and russia(28-30 golds).
However after the first 3 days of london 2012, china is leading on foreign soil with 9 golds followed by usa with 5. I wish western media specially bbc and our dear indian media to stop such biased commenting and reporting. Pages were written on the rivalry between lochte and phelps but there was no mention of sun yang and ye shiwen who both won breaking olympic records and even a world record.Frankly speaking it all leaves a stink of jealousy.
But then how can anybody accept the stupendous success of a country governed by the ‘outdated’ communist philosophy?It is unthinkable.All the so-called ‘democratic’ and capitalistic countries should rally together to control the ‘chinese communist beast’.Otherwise the world is in danger of being swallowed by the red dragon !!!

I am not quite sure if China would be able to dominate Atheletics, once it kicks off next week, the same way it did on other sports. But still, I expect China to topple US at the top.

the reason of their performance & performance enhancement is some herbs and chinese drugs which are not coming under scrutiny and detection of traditional drug ab-use test system.

鸦片战争后，清政府和英国签订了《南京条约》。这个条约被称为中国近代史上签订的第一个不平等条约，是丧权辱国的开始。什么叫不平等呢？就好像一个小孩被一个混蛋欺负了，小孩没办法，被迫接受混蛋提出来的无理要求。我们的历史教育一直是这样告诉我们的。那么问题来了，这些条约真的是不平等条约吗？如果真的是不平等，不平等在哪？我可以告诉大家，非常不平等。我们来看条约中的要点就知道了。《南京条约》第一条：“嗣后大清大皇帝、大英国君主永存平和，所属华英人民彼此友睦，各住他国者必受该国保护身家安全。”这一条是说，以后中英两国人民友好，大清皇帝和大英君主也平起平坐，国民在外的话，应该受到本国的保护。有人可能会比较惊讶，这一条不是很正常吗？是的，问题就在于这里。以今天的国际眼光来看，这一条简直是常识，任何两个国家都没有高低之分，国国平等。但问题是，这个条约指定的对象可是大清啊。自从英国人和大清打交道开始，大清从来没把英国人当成人看过，在清朝皇帝和官员的言语里，英国人从来都被称为牲畜、犬夷，林则徐在日记里把英国人叫“鬼子”，总之没有当成过人。并且，大清从来认为自己是天下共主，一直把英国当海外藩属国看待。在两国君主之间的交流中，大清一贯以爷爷训孙子的姿态对英国说话，让英国很难受。英国人当然不干了，英国人觉得两国之间是平等的，我来中国搞外交是为了自由贸易，不是一个藩属国来进贡的。所以自从乾隆时代和中国的第一次正式外交开始，英国人一直渴望的就是能和大清平起平坐，而不是永远低大清一等。这在今天来看太正常，可是对一向骄傲自大的清朝来说，这绝对是头号不平等，这是对统治亿万臣民的清朝皇帝莫大的亵渎啊。
