Pentair Product Warranties Give You Even More Peace of Mind
You've always been able to count on the quality and long service life of Pentair products. Pentair uses state of the art workmanship, materials and manufacturing processes to create the most innovative pool and spa equipment anywhere. And now Pentair products can deliver even more value and peace of mind, because Pentair offers extended warranty coverage on select products that are installed by a qualified installer.
While the majority of Pentair products are covered by a sixty- (60) day warranty, a select number of products qualify for extended warranty coverage under the following guidelines:
Pentair offers a three- (3) year extended warranty on the following products when they are installed by a qualified installer and registered within sixty (60) days from the date of installation:
Energy-saving IntelliFlo& and IntelliPro& Variable Speed Pumps (select models)
Three year warranty is only applicable to IntelliFlo& 2 VST and IntelliPro& 2 VST pumps purchased from a retail store (brick and mortar), pool builder or pool service company. IntelliFlo& 2 VST and IntelliPro& 2 VST Pumps purchased online (via internet) will only receive a sixty (60) day limited warranty.
SunTouch& Solar and SolarTouch& Control Systems
Select Bundled Products: applies to purchases and qualified installation of a minimum of a pump and filter, and one or more of the following: heaters, heat pumps, control systems, automatic cleaners, lighting, salt chlorine generators or UV sterilizer*
* Note: Bundled products must be purchased on the same invoice and installed at the same time.
If any product within a bundle is ineligible for the bundled warranty coverage then all products within the same bundle will be disqualified from receiving the three (3) year extended coverage for bundled products.
Pentair offers a two- (2) year extended warranty on the following products when they are installed by a qualified installer and registered within sixty (60) days from the date of installation:
SuperFlo& and SuperMax& VS Variable Speed Pumps
IntelliFlo& (part # 011018) and IntelliPro& (part #P6E6VS4H) Variable Speed Pumps
Heaters and Heat Pumps
IntelliBrite& 5G White LED Light
Pentair offers the following product warranties which do not require installation by a qualified installer:
IntelliChlor& Salt Chlorine Generator Replacement Cell
Prowler& 820 and Prowler 830 Inground Cleaners
Kreepy Krauly& Inground Cleaner
Kruiser& Inground Cleaner
Great White& Inground Cleaner
SandShark& Inground Cleaner
Inground Cleaner --- When the Pentair Rebel is purchased at a retail store, pool builder, or pool service company, the product will have a 2-year limited warranty. If purchased online/E-commerce, the warranty will have a 60-Day Limited Warranty.
Pentair offers a one- (1) year extended warranty on these products when they're installed by a qualified installer and registered within sixty (60) days from the date of installation:
Single and Dual Speed Pumps
Filters and Valves
Automation equipment, excluding SunTouch& Solar and SolarTouch& Control Systems
White Goods and Water Features
Chlorine/Bromine Feeders
Pentair offers the following product warranties which do not require installation by a qualified installer:
Aboveground Systems
Racer& Inground Cleaner
Legend& and Legend II Inground Cleaners
Platinum& Inground Cleaner
'Lil Shark& Aboveground Cleaner
E-Z Vac& Aboveground Cleaner
Warrior& Inground Cleaner
All products used in commercial applications receive a one- (1) year warranty. For warranty purposes, a commercial facility is defined as any facility other than a single family dwelling.
ACU-TROL AK Color and Accessories & one (1) year.
Exception: ACU-TROL Equipment Repairs sixty (60) days (for Non-Warranty Repairs)
ACU-TROL Commercial Controllers and Electronic Modules & five (5) years
ACU-Trol Commercial pH and ORP Probes & two (2) years
Commercial IntelliChlor& Salt Chlorine Generator (without power cell) two (2) years
Heat Pumps & two (2) years Parts & Labor.
Exception: Compressor Parts and Labor & ten (10) years, Titanium Heat Exchanger & Lifetime.
IntelliBrite& 5G White LED Light-two (2) years
STARK Commercial Filters & Fifteen (15) years
THS Series Commercial Filters & Ten (10) years
