作者用了好几个how，于是我去着重搜了一下，根据柯林斯，how有这样一条释义：

好吧其实我还是不太懂……
And whilst that seems like a stupid habit that you'd be wise to grow out of
you'd be wise是指“你做……是明智的”吧，grow out of是随着成长，逐渐改变某种行为，戒掉某些习惯的意思。

after是指追求，If you are after something, you are trying to get it.
