⑴.甲队单独完成这项工程刚好如期完成;
⑵.乙队单独完成这项工程要比规定时间多用6天;

The green sea turtle is listed as
endangered by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature. Under the
US Endangered Species Act of 1973, the green sea turtle was listed as
threatened except for the breeding populations in Forida and on the Pacific
coast of Mexico, where it is listed as endangered.
turtles continue to be caught for money by humans, and the destruction(破坏) and loss of nesting
and foraging(觅食) sites is a serious problem. Humans have already caused the
extinction of large green sea turtle populations, including those that once
nested in Bermuda and Cayman Islnads. The status of green sea turtle
populations is difficult to determine because of our lack of knowledge about
their life cycles. The number of nests in Florida appears to be increasing, but
we don’t know whether this is due to an increase in the number of nests or
because we have started to monitor nesting beaches more closely.
Growth rates of
green sea turtle have not been measured under natural conditions. Green sea
turtles grow slowly. Based on growth rate studies of wild green sea turtles,
the researchers estimate the age at sexual maturity(成熟) range anywhere from
20 to .50 years.

The trend in everyday conversation is to
use grandiose(浮夸的) words. “Outstanding” is the new word “good”, “amazing” is the new “OK”,
and “huge” is the new “big”.
I was in a
restaurant last weekend and every question I asked was answered in
superlatives(夸张).
A: How’s the
Fantastic!
A: Does it
come with rice?
Absolutely!
Would a “good”
and a “yes” have been enough? Of course!
My father is an
average-sized man. He hasn’t gained weight or height for the past 30 years. Ergo,
his size remains the same. But in the same amount of time, his T-shirt size has
gone from small to medium to large to extra large.
reflection(反省), the reason for the grandiose words is clear: We are bored with or
lives. We want the next-next thing now.
And we also
want others to think that we still care, that we can still be delighted, that
we know that everything is just great, even when “deep inside” we know it can’t
be. Everything can’t be great.
But listen to
the voices around you. Listen to your won voices. There is nothing on the news
that is good or bad, only thinks that are wonderful. Even the weather is either
beautiful or horrible.
Listen the next
time when someone asks you something and you agree, and when you could simply
say “yes”, instead you will say “absolutely” or “without doubt” or “Oh, yeah,
unqestionably”.
Have people
forgotten what it is like to be OK? Simply OK wth what they have and who they

Mainland singer Ansou Hu(胡彦斌) might not have a
good-lookng face. And he has no interest in cooking up gossip to get media
coverage. However, it doesn’t mean that Hu can’t be a successful star. In fact,
Hu has grown into the mainland’s pop king.

The survey by Birdlife International found
that 45% of Europe’s common birds had seen numbers fall.
The study’s
authors said governments were failing to fund(为……拨款) their promises to stop biodiversity(生物多样性) loss by 2010. The findings will be
presented at the group’s World Conference in Argentina.
The State of
the World’s Birds 2008 report found that common species—once considered to be
familiar in people’s everyday lives—were declining(减少) in all parts of the
world. In Europe, a study of 124 species over a 26-year period showed that 56
species had declined in 20 countries. Farmland birds were worst affected, with
the number of European turtle-doves falling by 79%.
In Africa, birds of prey(birds living by killing and eating other animals) were experiencing “widespread
decline” outside of protected areas. While in Asia, 62% of the continent’s
migratory(迁徙的) water bird species were “declining or already extinct”.
“for decades,
people have been focusing their efforts on threatened birds,” explained lead
editor Ali Satterfield, Birdlife International’s head of science. “But besides
this, we have been working to try to get a better understanding of what is
going on in the countryside as a whole.”
By analyzing
data from various surveys, the team of researchers was able to tell trends
affecting species around the world. “It tells us that environmental
degradation(恶化) is having a huge impact—not just on birds, but on biodiversity as
well” she told BBC News.
The global
assessment(评估) also showed that rare birds were also contining to be at risk.
