About our Company
U.P. to L.A. Enterprises, Inc. was
born out of necessity. As a young basketball coach almost 20 years ago, Jamie
Angeli found an early passion to explore the Internet and wanted to look at options
that could be used to promote his basketball interests and beyond. He created
this company to assist in developing his Internet related ideas while helping
other individuals prosper and learn from this incredible media format.
From the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to Los Angeles, California...and
everywhere in between.
Many people have asked, "Why U.P.
to L.A. Enterprises, Inc.?" The President and CEO is Jamie Angeli and he was born
and raised in Iron River, Michigan in an area that is called the Upper Peninsula.
His basketball travels have taken him all over the United States (and now the
World), from the Upper Peninsula (UP) to Los Angeles (LA). And there you have

Jamie Angeli has over 25 successful years in the basketball profession as a
student-athlete, coach, administrator, author and Internet entrepreneur. He has
coached and taught at the high school, Division I, II and III collegiate levels
and the professional ranks.
Last season, Angeli helped develop Tatiana
Heck into the second-best scorer on Seattle University women's basketball team,
where she earned All-Independent Second Team honors. For her efforts, she was
awarded the team's Most Improved Player award, as well as team MVP. Angeli also
runs the Seattle U women's basketball camp, Future Redhawks program, and assists
with scouting and recruiting. In addition, Angeli is an advance scout
for the WNBA Eastern Conference Champion Washington Mystics. Angeli
boasts over 25 successful years in the basketball profession as a player, coach,
administrator and author. As a professional coach overseas, he owns a 112-25 overall
record, including three consecutive league championships. He led his team to back-to-back
Heir Apparent Cup Championships and Emir Cup Championships, and in 2005, the Asian
Cup Championships. Stateside he has worked for 10 years as an assistant men's
coach in the Division I ranks under several decorated head coaches, including
UCLA's Steve Lavin, South Florida's Stan Heath, George Mason's Jim Larranga and

It doesn't matter where you live
all sorts of ways in which you can help to raise money for P.E.P.A.
Why not have a stall at a local rastro, or hold a bring and buy coffee
morning in your own home. Now that summer is coming think about having a fund
raising beach party, with games, raffles, etc. &Or, why not organise a car
treasure hunt, or have a bridge competition, or a petanca tournament, or a
marathon walk. You just need to be a bit organised and have a bit of energy! &We
have the ideas, we just need volunteers!
Being part of our fund raising team is not only imperative for the
success of P.E.P.A., but a very, very rewarding pastime knowing that you are
helping to save some poor creature, by giving him a better life. So, please
