　　考试形式：以测试口译水平为主要目标，从听、说、读、译（笔译、口译）等四个方面对考生的语言运用能力进行全面测试。考试采取客观试题与主观试题相结合、单项技能测试与综合技能测试相结合的方式。如在第一阶段笔试中，客观试题约占笔试试卷总分的25%，主观试题约占笔试试卷总分的75%。　　 　　本考试分为两个阶段：　　 　　第一阶段综合笔试共分六部分。第一部分：听力；第二部分：阅读（1）；第三部分：翻译（英译汉）；第四部分：听译；第五部分：阅读（2）；第六部分：翻译（汉译英）。每部分考试时间为30分钟，总考试时间为180分钟。每部分考分分配为50分，六部分总分300分，合格分为180分，第一阶段考试合格的学生方可参加二阶段的口试。　　 　　第二阶段口试共分两部分：口语与口译。考试时间共为25分钟左右。 　　该套高级口译教程的主编为孙万彪，编委为周国强、严诚忠、梅德明、陈德民。由上海外语教育出版社出版，公开发行。中高级口译实用全攻略中高级口译考试每年3月和9月考试。分笔试和口试，笔试通过才有口试资格。口试通过才能得到中高级口译资格证书。最近已考过的一次就在3月11日。下一次是在9月17日考试。报名为6月15日。 　　最新信息： 　　从3月27日起到4月5日可以开始电话查分： 　　高级180分通过，中级150分。若通过则会接到通知单，凭此通知和第一阶段（笔试）准考证，可于3月30日至4月1日上午8时到下午4时至上海外国语大学成人教育学院（中山北一路295号小高层8楼）办理第二阶段（口试）报名手续，届时也可以参加第二阶段考前培训（35元，包括磁带、材料费）。第二阶段考试将于4月8日（高级），5月6日（中级）举行，考试报名费130元。过时不候，逾期不报者，作自动放弃，可参加下一届第二阶段考试。 攻略： 　　准备及报名阶段： 　　读高级口译这样课时较多的课外进修，时间是一个非常重要的因素。在去报名之前先问自己一声：在今后的日子里，是否可能有半年左右的夜晚或双休日贡献给这门课程。因为按照规定高级口译每周15学时，共16周，如果时不时要有个应酬或者意外的学习者，最好事先有个准备。 　　一般的进修学校都会开设两种时段的课程供学习者按照自身情况选择：双休班和平时班（要求都是已经过了大学六级水平）。双休班以大时段密集形为特点，对平时时间常要加班的上班族比较适合，但是它的缺点就是一下子灌输太多的知识，有的班从下午1点上到晚上9点，后面几小时学习效果肯定不会好，而且其间相隔长达5天，这就要求学习者有较好的自律意识，平时巩固复习，否则学习效果将大打折扣；平时班克服了双休班如上缺点，但是平时班一周有四晚上课，从晚上6点半到9点10分，要修完所有课程也是需要一点毅力的。 　　也听说过按照口试和笔试分开上课的班级。由于高级口译分为笔试和口试两个部分，笔试通过才有口试资格，因此也有培训点先进行笔试培训，然后安排口试培训的。但是口语能力的提高不是一朝一夕之功，而且期间比较仓促，作一个冲刺训练教授一点技巧尚可，要在短短几星期中全面提高口语能力恐怕不太容易。 　　选择好时段后，选学校也是很重要的。据笔者所知，上海的课外进修学校最大的是新生代的交大昂立和老牌子的前进。也有一些大学的英语系所开办了一些培训班，如华师大、交大等听说也有开班。学校比较知名对学习者的保障也比较大，因为这样的业余进修学校是特别需要参加者对它的口碑宣传的，所以相应的各方面会做的比较到位。其次，学校的地理位置也是很重要的，尤其是参加平时班的，如果到达目的地需要化1小时以上，转2辆车的就要考虑换方向了，很多中途消失的学习者就是因为开始觉得自己可以克服路远迢迢的麻烦，最后弃械投降的。 　　时间学校都搞定以后就是教材。现在市面上高级口译的通用教材是上海外语教育出版社的《英语高级口译资格证书考试》共5本，分别是听力、阅读、翻译、口语及口译，价格大约在130左右（包括听力和口译磁带）。 高级口译的学费一般在1100元左右（包括教材、磁带和资料）。 　　上课： 　　这里的上课时当然不是告诉你，该怎样认真听课，而是想谈一点老师教给的课外学习方法。本来这应该是属于商业机密的，但是考虑到教师本来就是在为社会做贡献的，大公无私的代名词，就不考虑版权问题了。 听力的训练当然是平时多听。鉴于高级口译是针对一些正式场合的翻译，建议学习者多看看英语新闻，期间出现的重大事件很可能将来就是考试的内容（这点容后再禀），了解一些事件的英语名称翻译，以及各方观点对考试都是有帮助的。另外多看翻译的碟片，看的时候最好是一人独自观摩，最好不要看银幕下的翻译尝试自己理解，对于看不懂的地方充分利用手中的遥控器，REPEAT再REPEAT，几次以后这句话就是你的了。而且看碟片有助于学习者了解各种英语国家的口音，这在实践中效果尤为明显。还有口译考试中很强调一个瞬间记忆的问题，即要求应试者在听一段文字后立刻口译或笔译，这对记忆力的要求非常高。训练的方法可以这样：看一段报纸（英语或中文皆可），立刻在心中复述一遍，以后更可要求直接翻译。 　　口译和口语的训练是相辅相成的。多读英语报纸如CHINADAILY、SHANGHAISTAR等都是有帮助的。对一些政策性的文章应该尤为关注，这是重点之一。口译训练还有一个特殊方法即&偷听&，在公交汽车上或寝室、办公室听别人在讲什么，然后自己默默扮演TRANSLATOR的角色。这样的训练据说是很有效果的（但是笔者从未试验成功过，你会发现自己的英语真是其烂无比，日常生活中最简单的说法居然一点也翻不出来。但是切记不要硬翻，这样容易造成CHINESE-ENGLISH，比较好的做法是理解表达者的意思，在头脑中将它构成一幅图画，然后意译--这是口译专家的法宝）。因为考试中有一部分是给一个TOPIC然后直接说3－5分钟的话，所以口语训练还有一点关键就是逻辑性要强（要让听者知道你说的每一层的含义），看到一个话题后就想象自己拿到这样的话题可以说些什么，怎样说的有序。 　　教程课本中尤为值得注意的是口译教程因为考试中的口译部分将有部分选题是出自此书的。另外推荐两本有用的书都是口译书的编写者纂写的：《汉英口译实践》和《英汉口译实践》，都是人民教育出版社出的，在昂立书店和外语书店、书城里都可以买到。 考试 　　高级口译证书的含金量决定了这门考试的难度，但是只要有通过者就说明考试并不是高不可攀的。 　　高级口译资格证书考试共分为两个部分：笔试和口试。一年两考分别在3月和9月。笔试通过发给证明通知进行口试，口试通过就大功告成了；如果笔试过了，口试没过，考试委员会会在今后两年内的每次口试都通知你去参加（当然要注册交纳报名费），2年内仍没有通过的，很遗憾你的笔试通过就作废了。参加笔试的报名费目前是105元，可以在培训点报名。（社会报名听说是有的，只是地点目前笔者还不知道）。 　　笔试共计300分，180分通过，分为听力、阅读和翻译三部分，各部分都是100分。听力分为五部分：SPOT DICTATION 30%、MULTIPLE CHOICE 20%、NOTE-TAKING AND GAP-FILLING 20%、SENTENCE TRANSLATION 15%、PASSAGE TRANSLATION 15%；阅读两部分：MULTIPLE CHOICE 50％、QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS 50％；翻译两部分：ENGLISH INTO CHINESE 50%、CHINESE INTO ENGLISH 50%。 　　笔试在听力NOTE-TAKING前的部分和阅读MULTIPLE CHOICE及ENGLISH INTO CHINESE 在一份考卷上，其余在另一份考卷上。上半场一个半小时，下半场也是，当中换考卷休息10分钟，继续。共计3小时10分钟。期间不得离场，所以考试那天千万要少喝水。 　　口试分为两部分：口语和口译。都只有三个档次：优秀、及格、不及格。口语的考试是给你一个TOPIC 以及一些提示（当然你可以选择用和不用）连贯的说3－5分钟；口译则要求考生在规定的时间内将听到的段落翻译成英语和汉语，每段分别评分。 　　听力SPOT DICTATION是分值比较高的部分，20空每格1.5分。这部分的分数也是比较好抓的，平时多做一些类似的训练（听力教程）基本可以过关。CHOICE，要求在一些数字或时间处做一些笔记，一些较长选项建议先看A、C项，然后看D项，如果都不是则可以毫不犹豫的选B，一般这时计时也已经到了。NOTE-TAKING建议在理解的基础上做笔记，由于是一空一词，所以对反复出现的词要特别注意，一些数字不要张冠李戴。TANSLATION部分尽量将句子写完整，通顺，必要时自己可以做一点设想，同时根据自己需要做笔记，不要太多，这样容易遗漏听到部分，也不能不做，每一句话标识要清晰，以免不必要的遗漏。还有，考试时字迹一定要清晰，尤其是自己大段书写部分，专家建议用黑色的钢笔或圆珠笔，不要用修正液。 　　同时笔试部分时间控制十分关键。第一部分听力半小时，剩下的一小时里要做完4篇阅读，1段翻译时间是很紧张的，建议阅读部分可以先看题目然后在文中找答案。第二部分同理。 　　口试部分，在正式开考前五分钟会拿到TOPIC准备，此时建议将想到的大声讲出来，这对考试很有帮助。如果很紧张可以做深呼吸。进入房间后对考官问好也有助于稳定情绪。另外口试TOPIC可能是市民平时关心的热点话题，也可能是半年内发生的国内外大事，在应考期间可以做一些准备，理一理思路。口试时可以多举一些例子，有助于充实内容，也可以列数字，这时数字是什么并不重要，重要的是心平气和连贯的讲。另外由于口试是十分主观的，因此口试时的仪态坐姿等对成绩都会有一定影响。 　　应试教材方面，由于高级口译办到现在也只有短短几年，所以教材不像市面上针对考研或四、六级的多如牛毛。笔者看到的一共有两套。一套是编教材的上海外语教育出版社的《英语高级口译资格证书考试应试指南》，共有两套综合练习和四套模拟试题，封面是粉红色的与教材颇为相似，12.80元，另配有三盒磁带，昂立书店等都有卖；另一套据说是交大版的《英语高级口译资格证书实考指南》，白色封面，比较厚，20元，另附有八盒磁带，内容也比较多。应试者可以根据需要选择购买。
