该是...的时候了．从句后要用虚拟语气．
如: It is (high) time that we got home. 我们该回家了．是我们该回家的时候了．
　It is (high) time that we went to bed.
我们该睡觉了．是我们该睡觉的时候了．
值得注意的是: 这种表达方法语气虽然是虚拟的，但是可以实现的，可以做的事情．

⑷ It';s + the/序数词+ time +to do sth. 表示某人第几次做某事。例：

⑸ It';s + the+序数词+ time+ that clause.也 表示某人第几次做某事。例：
& &It is my first time that I';ve
even written letters.
& &这是我第一次用写信。

　　&It&s time that...&句型表示&该是&&的时候了&，谓语动词用一般过去式，有时为了强调，在time之前加high一词，表示&早该是&&的时候了&.从句谓语通常用过去式表示现在或将来，有时也用过去进行时或&should+动词原形&(较少见，且should不能省略.
　　It's time we started.我们该动身了。
　　It is time that you left here.你该离开这儿了。
　　It's time you studied hard.你该努力学习了。
　　也可用于同义表达
　　该是孩子们上床的时间了。
　　It&s time the kids were in bed.
　　=It&s time for the kids to be in bed.
　　注意：
　　(1) time前有时有about和high修饰：
　　It&s high time we left. 我们早该动身了。
　　It&s high time you bought a new car. 你该买辆新车了。
　　(2) 与其他的虚拟结构不同，该结构不能在该用 was 时而用 were：
　　It&s time I was in bed. 我该上床睡了。(不用were)
　　(3) 其中的 It is 有时根据情况也可改为 It was，其后的时态不受影响：
　　你该上床睡觉了。
　　正：It is time you went to bed. (指现在而言)
　　正：It was time you went to bed. (指过去而言)
