&第六届Gaon Chart K-POP Award&中曾被称为&怪物新人&的BLACKPINK，展现了音源女王的实力。
22日下午7时（韩国时间），&第六届Gaon Chart K-POP Award&在首尔松坡区蚕室洞蚕食室内体育馆举行，Super Junior成员利特、MAMAMOO成员Sola担当主持人。男子组合exo、防弹少年团、歌手Dean、Bewhy、女子组合GFRIEND、Twice、Black Pink等都出席了当天的活动。
在&第六届Gaon Chart K-POP Award&中，BLACKPINK继新人奖与音源部门8月赏之后，再次获得了Gaon Chart K-POP Award音源部门11月赏，成为了名副其实的&三冠王&，展现了YG女团的力量。
从第六届开始，&Gaon Chart K-POP Award&为了强化客观性与公正性，改变了年度歌手奖与新人奖部门的颁奖标准，音源部门是以歌曲发表30日数据为基准，专辑部门是从发表周开始到第六周为止的数据，此次来决定顺序。所以不论是在月末发表的音源还是季度的最后一天才发表的专辑，都会公平地进行评奖。
因此，谁能横扫年度歌手奖得到了大众的关注，主人公便是YG8月发表的新女团BLACKPINK，出道不到半年的BLACKPINK在年末横扫了各大颁奖典礼的新人奖，在&第六届Gaon Chart K-POP Award&中在音源部门也树立了组合自尊心。

事实上，BLACKPINK的三度获奖也不是毫无预兆的。BLACKPINK在去年以《playing with fire》、《口哨》等歌曲在很长时间内都占据了音源榜单的上位圈。根据去年8月数据显示，在Gaon Chart数据、下载、mobile榜单等方面BLACKPINK都以绝对优势占据第一位。
不仅如此，BLACKPINK在以中国为首的海外榜单中也创造了很好的成绩。去年11月发表的《playing with fire》在拥有4亿用户的QQ音乐流行指数榜单中获得第一位，展现了强势的音源力量。
在日播出的SBS《人气歌谣》，出道14日的BLACKPINK凭借出道曲《WHISTLE》获得出道的第一个一位，创下了女团中的最短纪录。
美国知名流行乐杂志《滚石》曾在主页评出&不能不知道的10位艺人&，韩国女团BLACKPINK赫然在列。
YG时隔7年推出的新女团BLACKCPINK，有着不亚于2NE1的实力与少女时代般的外貌视觉。
