&& In my eyes, listening is the most important. Perhaps, you admire somebody who can speak fluent and perfect English. In fact, you can also make it! Listen, listen and listen. Turn on your MP3&& while taking the bus on the way to work. Picking up English programmes on CCTV-9 even while doing some chores. English songs, English movies, English soap operas......Just let English hits every corner of your brain. As time goes on ,you will find you can blurt out genuine and standard English just like native speakers. Amazing? Just have a try. My motto is: Practice makes perfect. Listen....make sense of the main idea.....pay attention to your pronunciation....imitate native speakers......succeed!
&& Plenty of learners complain about lack of oral English surroundings. Yeah.....It is true. But it shouldn't be the excuse of your quit. Stick to reading some English articles before you go to bed. Read loudly and confidently. Chat with English fans or foreigners via microphone on QQ, MSN or ICQ. Do not be shy or nervous. Everyone is likely to make mistakes! The biggest fear is fear itself.
In fact, so many English learners fail to make a difference in study just because of some bad habits. Here are my good habits for you. Hope you can get some inspiration from it.
1. There is no shortcut in English study. English is a course of accumulating! Love it and work hard on it!
2. You can listen to English evening on China Business Radio from 9:00 to 10:00 pm. It is pretty helpful. CRI is also not bad for you.
3. If you are an English starter, just read 21st Century newspaper. It is fashionable and rich in content.
4. Stick to reading original English news report in

学英语的终极目的是什么。想到很多，思路也比较乱。简单理一下，希望大家指正、补充。1. 秦朝统一度量衡。 秦朝虽然短命，但其不仅统一了中国，也统一了度量衡。忘了是不是也统一了货币或官话。 2.英制与公制 历史上，英国采用英制，包括货币和度量衡。后来英镑也变成了“公制”。中国在工程技术上一度采用过英制，公制，俄制。不但混乱，也很麻烦。 3. 有关汉语概念的英译，英语概念的汉译。十台机器可能有十种译法，十个翻译官却可能闹出二十种译法。 4.学英语，目的到底是什么。 应付考试，敲门砖。为了方便交流。为了出国。为了炫耀。 5.领袖教导 古为今用，洋为中用。读书是学习，使用也是学习，而且是更重要的学习。 6.个人体会 拿来主义，为我所用。
