楼上又在误认子弟了这里考的知识点是名词一致性这里independence作独立是多个人可以共享的,所以前面能+an,但是像voice这样的单词是不可以共享的,不可以说2个人共享一个声音,所以要变成voices不可共享的名词：现实生活中有一一对应关系的名词,如身体特征：voice,mind,life（生命）可共享：dream,idea,plan,independence,life(生活)
许多看似简单的名字都有很多引申义independence就有什么独立精神的意思这种题就是CB出出来玩玩你的...我也在准备SAT

的确是时态问题.同一句子里动词的时态应保持一致.无论是前面的defend还是后面的are都显示了这句话处于现在时,所以应当为【justify】.
