　　“识别在句子中用冒号来连接句子的正确用法”
　　冒号考察较少，作用为引起下文并解释说明。在2010年5月、2012年5月、2013年5月考试中均有涉及。一般情况，解释说明的内容为两项。
　　Skill5. Recognize the correct use of vocabulary.

　　“识别词汇的正确使用”
　　形近词也是同学们比较头疼的，一般在IE题目25题之后一般会有一道题。如2011年10月collaborate和corroborate，2012年的1月的imminent和eminent，2013年5月北美的proceed和precede等。需多积累。

　　“敢于选E”
　　如果把各个分数段所要求的技能都到达，相信语法单项得到较高的分数并不难的，但是还有E选项这个难题摆在我们面前，具体问题具体分析，我们可以通过选项中的词、句的结构来分析可能出题的知识点，排除一些选项，如果最后剩下的选项是一个和介词有关的，或者和形容词、副词有关的，那么有可能是考察固定搭配以及形近词，当这些问题都不太大时，那么我们选择E。如果有的同学为了保险起见，也可以选择空题，但需要注意这个分数段，最多也就空1道题。

　　“一定要细心，而且要掌握好时间”
　　到了这个分数段，同学们时间肯定是够的，前面一个语法section是25分钟，后面一个是10分钟，所以大家可以适当放慢一些速度，保证题目的准确率，不要超过3个。可以先紧后慢，因为出题顺序基本上符合出题难易程度。

但是我认为似乎C中“its”指代不清，大家有什么看法？

我认为C中this 指代quilts， 那么应该改成these？

第2到，含义不对issue不能用desirous

谢谢这位同学
但是感觉its指代的话和and有关系么？老师讲的时候说its前面一般只能有一个单数吧
第二题难道是传说中的措辞问题……很少这么考的说~
就是措辞，确实非常少，应该desirable
its 指代heart disease
仔细读下，可以发现指代其实很清楚，的是its treatment， its 就是heart disease

3.看句子最后的年份 1986&&过去了的年份&&应该用过去完成&&而原文是has served% O, o+ p9 G, D' w: _! s9 Z2 C* K5 U; j
4.this display 的this 是指display& & 而不是指quilts& &&&，this display指前面的 traditionally made quilts are aired outdoors on sunny springs的这件事
至于its& &5L是对的& &treatment很显然是相对于病来说的&&如果前面有两个病的话还用its就是指代不清& &但是这里只有一个 所以没指代不清& & PS：如果在文中能够推出代词的含义 是没有指代不清的.
