电影篇（一）达拉斯买家俱乐部（The&Dallas&Buyers&Club）
达拉斯买家俱乐部（The&Dallas&Buyers&Club）导演Jean-Marc&Vall&e，主演马修·麦康纳，根据罗恩·伍德鲁夫的真实经历改编。讲的是一个关于绝症患者努力求生的故事，剧情平淡，但是演员诠释的还挺跌宕。
讲述一个艾滋病晚期患者如何与病魔做斗争的故事。罗恩（Ron&Woodroof）（饰演）被确证为艾滋病晚期，他并被告知只剩下30天的生命，他所服用的药剂AZT是当时（美国食品药品管理局）唯一合法批准上市的一种治疗药物，但遗憾的是这药物让他病情恶化的更快。为了能够活下去，他开始研究各类未受当局批准的抗艾滋病药物和替代疗法，甚至非法走私来自全世界各地的各种抗艾滋病病药物.&影片以第2557天结束，他活了七年多，并不是一个月。
显然，考SAT的同学可以把这个电影用作SAT写作essay“挑战权威”话题的例子，建议写作“武功”比较高的同学文章通篇就写这一个例子，主要文章body的布局，细节描写很重要。写作“武功”还不是很强大的同学可以选择Body部分写2个例子，配上另一部同年奥斯卡影片“为奴12年”。
如果你是个爱读书的同学，SAT写作essay的例子就选择你之前的欧美文学作品。
如果读书少，我们可以用看过的美国电影作为例子，因为美国电影里的故事在美国历史的背景下或当代的背景下体现了美国人的主流价值观，是作为SAT写作essay例子的很好选择。

How do you learn best This week we asked students at New Star High School about the best ways to learn more English. Many said they learnt by using English.Some students had more specific suggestions. Lillian Lian,for example,said the best way to learn new words was by reading English magazines.
