　　名词性物主代词作用及形式
　　名词性物主代词起名词的作用。(黑体为名词性物主代词)
　　例：1. Look at the two pencils. The red one is yours and the blue one is mine.
　　看那两支铅笔，红的是你的，蓝的是我的。
　　2. He likes me. He doesn’t like she.
　　他喜欢我。不喜欢她。
　　3.Lucy’s hair is longer than Lily's.
　　露西的头发比莉莉的更长。
　　3. 注意：在使用名词性物主代词时，必须有特定的语言环境，也就是要省略的名词大家已经知道，已经提起过。
　　例： It's hers. 　是她的。
　　(单独使用大家不知是怎么回事，不可以这样用。)
　　There is a book. It's hers. 　这有本书。是她的(书)。
　　(这里的hers=her book)
　　只有上文提及了某个名词，才会知道名词性物主代词指代的事物。
　　名词性物主代词=形容词性物主代词+名词
　　为避免重复使用名词，有时可用“名词性物主代词”来代替“形容词性物主代词+名词”的形式。
　　例：My bag is yellow, her bag is red, his bag is blue and your bag is pink.
　　为避免重复使用bag，可写成My bag(形容词性) is yellow, hers(名词性=her bag) is red, his(名词性=his bag) is blue and yours(名词性=your bag) is pink.
　　名词双重所有格的形式
　　1.双重所有格是由非生物的所有格(即of+名词)与生物的所有格(如mother's, Tom's等)共同构成的。
　　2.双重所有格的形式可为名词+of+名词的所有格,其中of后面的生物的所有格之后的名词被省略;也可为名词+of+所有代名词。
　　Tom, Mike, and Mary were classmates of Stephen's.
　　汤姆,迈克和玛丽是史迪文的同学。
　　在生物的所有格Stephen's之后,省略了名词classmates, 生物的所有格所代表的同学的数量超过此文提到过的三人。
　　Mr. Green and Mr. Brown are neighbors of mine.
　　格林先生和布朗先生是我的邻居。
　　of之后的所有代名词=所有形容词my+名词neighbors,它所代表的邻居的数量超过此文提到过的两人。
　　3.双重所有格多由a, an, this, that, these, those, any, some, each, every, many, more, most, either, neither, no, much, another, several, enough, such, one, two等冠词、指示形容词、不定形容词、数量词或疑问形容词which+名词+of+名词的所有格或所有代名词构成。
　　He is a teacher of my sister's.
　　他是我妹妹的一位老师。
　　A friend of hers has gone to London.
　　她的一位朋友去了伦敦。
　　This tool of his is useful.
　　他的这个工具很有用。
　　It's no business of yours.
　　这不关你的事。
　　That great idea of David's brought us a lot of trouble.
　　戴维的那个好主意给我们带来了很多麻烦。
　　Which novel of Dicken's are you reading?
　　你在读狄更斯的哪一本小说?
　　4.如果双重所有格中of前面的名词是portrait, picture, printing, statue, photograph等时,是指有关的人所收藏的肖像或照片等,而不是他本人的肖像或照片。
　　This is a portrait of Mr. White's.
　　这是怀特先生的一幅画像。
　　本句指怀特先生所收藏的一幅画像。
　　This is a portrait of Mr. White.
　　这是怀特先生的一幅画像。
　　本句指画中画的是怀特先生。
　　可说仆加of加主
　　但也有特例 门的钥匙the key to the door 问题的答案the answer to the question
　　公园的出口the entrance to the park
　　几种特殊的复数形式的名词
　　① 有些表示由两部分构成的东西和部分学科的名词总以复数的形式出现。如：glasses(眼镜)，shorts(短裤)，mathematics(数学)，physics(物理学)，politics(政治学)等。
　　②.有些复数形式的名词表示特别的意义。如：papers(文件)，manners(礼貌)，goods(货物)，times(时代)，conditions(环境;情况)等。
　　③有些名词在习惯用语中一定要用复数形式。如：make friends with(与……交朋友)，shake hands with(与……握手)等。
　　复习时需要注意的要点
　　(1)有些名词形式像复数，但含义是单数，而有些名词是没有单数形式的，应注意谓语动词的选用。例如：
　　a.Maths is the language of science.
　　b.No news is good news.
　　c.The Chinese people are a great people.
　　(2)在"there be"的句子中，谓语动词的数应和它最近的主语的数相一致.例如：
　　a.There are two pictures on the wall.
　　b.There is a cat and two dogs in the garden.
　　(3) 不规则名词的复数形式
　　①改变单数名词中的元音字母或其他形式。如：man men，woman women，tooth teeth，foot feet，mouse mice，child children等。
　　②单复数形式相同。如：sheep，deer，fish等，以及由汉语音译表示度量、币制等单位的名词。如：yuan.另外以-ese或-ss结尾的表示民族的名词也一样同形。如：Chinese，Japanese，Swiss等。
　　③以-an结尾或其他形式结尾的表示民族、国家的人的名词变复数时在词尾加-s.如：Americans，Asians，Russians，Australians，Italians，Germans等。
　　注意：Englishman Englishmen，Frenchman Frenchmen.
　　④复合名词的复数形式：在词末加-(e)s，如：afternoons，housewives等。
　　把主体名词变成复数形式。如：lookers-on(旁观者)，passers-by(过路人)等。
　　⑤由man或woman作为第一部分的复数名词，两个组成部分皆变为复数形式。如：man driver men drivers，woman doctor women doctors等。
