BIND Therapeutics is a clinical-stage nanomedicine platform company developing Accurins(TM), our novel targeted therapeutics. We are leveraging our medicinal nanoengineering platform to develop a pipeline of Accurins, initially in oncology, as well as Accurins in collaboration with biopharmaceutical companies. Our lead drug candidate, BIND-014, is currently in Phase 2 clinical trials for non-small cell lung cancer and metastatic castrate resistant prostate cancer. Additionally, we have collaborations with Amgen, Inc., Pfizer Inc., and AstraZeneca AB to develop Accurins based on molecularly targeted APIs from their product pipelines. We are looking for highly motivated people who thrive on being challenged and working in a highly collaborative environment to join the team and play a key role in conducting rigorous, cutting-edge science.
Reporting to the COO, the Director of Investor and Public Relations will develop, implement and manage BIND’s IR/PR strategy to effectively deliver product, program and corporate messages to key audiences in order to achieve our corporate and strategic goals.
Specifically, the Director of Investor/Public Relations will:
Develop key communication strategies and shape cohesive communications plans as part of a collaborative process Build relationships both internally and externally that enable accurate, efficient and optimal creation and delivery of key messages Responsible for overall communications strategy and materials including creation, review and approval of corporate presentations, press releases, conference call scripts, and Q&A’s Develop and maintain on-going schedule of IR events including conferences, earnings calls, investor panels, and analyst events Attend roadshows and broker conferences along with executive management Manage outside investor and public relations agency relationships Ensure all aspects of the company website are accurate and up to date, = create/revise content in conjunction with the management team as necessary Maintain and communicate competitive analysis on industry peers Act as the corporate liaison to institutional investors and analysts Conduct detailed analysis to support communications with analysts, investors and other key stakeholders Maintain a robust understanding of industry financial, standards and practices Develop and maintain investor and company distribution lists and manage communications to these audiences Develop and maintain an investor relations contact management system to track all interactions with institutional investors
Qualifications 8+ years of relevant work experience, in investor/public relations, with a demonstrated understanding of the biotechnology industry (pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience is essential) Superior communication skills, verbal and written, including highly scientific and clinical content Polished presence and a proven ability to fluidly interact with individuals at all levels and in all environments Ability to navigate and demonstrate success in a fast paced, dynamic work environment which requires the collaboration of multiple people, including senior organizational leaders Proven ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise judgment and discretion This position requires approximately 40% travel
