Subsequently,the quantity of granular sludge increased obviously,particle diameter became bigger (particle diameter wasabout 2.43 mm), granular settling velocity reached 73.52m/h, and most of flocculent sludge had been transformedinto granular sludge on the 63rd d. At the same time, thevolume load of the reactor and COD removal rate reached9.6 kgCOD/ (m3·d) and 85%, respectively. Then heightenthe influent load gradually and investigated the stabilityof the reactor and granular sludge simultaneously, theresult showed that COD removal rate reached 92% with avolume load 15 kgCOD/ (m3·d) on the 101st d.
