表示在梦中的经历或见到的情境,即“梦见”“梦到”时,一般二者可换用。其区别在于:表示“做梦”“梦想”时接about或of均可,而在表示“考虑”“想”“渴望”时,通常接of。例如:
The boy dreamed of becoming a pilot.这男孩想成为飞行员。
I often dream about〔of〕 the time when my work will be finished.我常常梦想我的工作有朝一日能结束。
The soldier often dreams about〔of〕 home.这士兵经常梦到家。

析 dream如需和非谓语动词搭配,须用“of+动名词”结构,而不可用动词不定式。
