关于英语翻译考试的问题
我是英语专业毕业的，通过了专业八级。现在从事的工作和英语没有太大关系，但是也不想把学了四年的东西完全丢掉，所以想考个翻译的证书。考证书的目的不是完全为了增加今后跳槽的筹码，因为不太想从事全职翻译的工作，只是希望在正职工作之余做点兼职翻译，既能利用本专业又能赚点零花钱。还有一个重要的原因就是，虽然自己想不断学习，可总感觉只有考试的压力才有学习的动力……（应试教育的结果咩？）查了一点CATTI考试的资料，感觉好难啊……而且不知道应该考笔译还是口译更适合。希望对翻译有热情有经验的筒子们来回答我的问题~~~非常感谢！

我个人认为如果你想做口译就直接联系口译考试吧~~~~~但是做兼职的话，笔译比较方便一点，可以没有地域和时间限制。口译比笔译收入要高很多，笔译的话，如果真的开始兼职了，就会感觉自己非常非常宅，每天除了上班就是兼职和吃饭睡觉，我亲自体会。不过如果真的热爱英语，长期从事的话，笔译也不错，等到老了退休了也可以一直做，不会觉得无聊。

看目前的水平，如果一直没有放弃英语学习，那么只要参加一些有关翻译的培训课程，了解自己的不足，增加一些翻译的技能，就可以慢慢开始做，有一个网站是专门介绍翻译行业的，好像是骑士翻译，还要可以下载的学习课程和考试资料，还不错，比较实用翻译考试证书有两种，CATTI 是比较难的，相当于职业翻译，另一种全国翻译证书容易一点

记忆力好的话考口译还是蛮不错的，其实个人认为口译比笔译简单点，因为每一段吸收的内容少些，容易handle，笔译对语言的要求更高些，比较demanding
赚零花的话还是笔译好吧 口译要占时间 笔译的话你可以在业余时间分块做啊 基本上你专八证书在了笔译水平也在的吧 试试去那种求职或者翻译网站看看有没有要接的

兼职翻译的话基本上都是做笔译 而且专业领域比较多 考证帮助不大 不如专攻某个专业领域的英语 比如法律英语 机械英语什么的……即使是做全职翻译 纯翻译也很少的 或多或少要和业务挂钩 纯翻译人家会请30岁以上的人员来做 而且都得是一级翻译级别了 考个二三级的证不管用的 能力最重要

A这门课从一定程度上就是口译课程。学习中要求尽量缩短note（比如简写、开头字母组合、数字符号等等技巧）、要求口头表达多于书面记录、要求分组交流……不论是受东方人骨子里的含蓄的影响，还是现代应试教育作业多如牛毛、传统教育的重视笔试等等窘境，口头表达能力始终是学生们的弱项。也有老师说英语系学生英语说的不错，但往往“两个黄鹂鸣翠柳——不知所云，一行白鹭上青天——离题万里”。主要是因为英语系学生减少了对时事大事的关注，以及课堂上注重讲，但不注重怎样讲而造成的。我认为外教们上课由于大多着重于鼓励学生开口讲，而忽略了学生使用英语的规范性与逻辑性。讲英语，不仅仅需要一口流利的伦敦腔，更在乎的是表达的人究竟想要讲什么，怎么讲。这也就使得历年口译考试第二环，口试部分成为众多考生面前不可仰望的一座大山。
